"The restaurant the Ninth Art Two Stars guide Michelin is an amazing surprise. For some time already we wanted with my husband to book for a dinner but the few notices about a sober interior with unapproached tables made us much hesitate. It is a personal appreciation. In reality, it is true that the place may seem a little cold at first but we are very soon taken away by an exemplary and warm service as well as by the flavors of the game entry. Christophe Roure’s cuisine is a cuisine of emotions, full of surprises and an absolute finesse. Perfectly mastered cooking, everything is absolutely perfect from mouth to mouth. An absolute enchantment, a fly for taste buds. Special mention for the extraordinary bread, the very complete cheese trolley and a general presentation of the very high level plates. We will close this sumptuous dinner with an excellent tea accompanied by mignardises all more exquisite than others accompanied by a panettone in perfect agreement with the spirit of Christmas parties. Here is more than 4h that we are set, it is particularly good to live in the Ninth Art. The service is also perfect, no false note, a professional fluid service, the chef accepts modifications to certain dishes which is rare and shows that generosity is part of his values. A very nice exchange at the end of the meal will definitely confirm this feeling. This restaurant is one of the most exceptional that we had the privilege to discover. We do not fail to recommend this establishment to our loved ones. To discover for whom enjoys an emotional cuisine with a personal signature full of subtlety."

If culinary perfection exists, then the Ninth Art could be its incarnation. From a subtle refinement, without any fault of taste, both in the mix of flavors and in the service, a single word: fabulous!

A solid 2-star. Very good experience from A to Z. Map of fortified wines. Excellent service. Mastery of exceptional dishes. And always looking for creativity like this bee wax cod. A beautiful address not to be missed in Lyon.

We spent a good time with family in this restaurant with absolutely exceptional cuisine. The dishes were more refined than others and the deal puts and the wine perfectly fair. In short, the service is impeccable and the delicious cuisine.

It was the first time I was testing a 2-star restaurant and it was really exceptional. Whether reception by staff in the room or reception, the quality of the dishes, or the quality of the service was perfect. It's a very good address I'll do with pleasure.

Putting in the mouths, passing through the late meal mignardises was very good. Special mention for smoked poultry eggs, poached foie gras and shells! Of course everything else is, too. The only regret not having seen the chef at the end of the meal to exchange on the kitchen as well as a signature of the menu for this anniversary day

Christophe Roure surprises his guests with subtle imagination and great joy in different textures. The dishes are very tasteful, the few ingredients are well matched. Classics and modernism can be found in large kitchens. Roure attaches great importance to the technology he has learned at Bocuse or Gagnaire. Every culinary creation impresses with special harmony.

"My wife and I dined here on a Saturday night (having made a reservation several days in advance), and it was one of the best dining experiences we have had in France in a long time. We reserved for the early seating, showed up on time, and were among the first customers there. We had a small table near the door. The disadvantage is that we were occasionally wafted by a cold draft from the front door. The bigger advantage was that we were sitting near the restaurant's beautiful, precision, hand-operated meat slicer. The specialty starter is beef that has been cured for seven months with seven spices. It is sliced paper thin (and that is no exaggeration) and served heaped on a plate. Heavenly. My wife and I ordered only one of these plates and it was more than ample for the two of us.That was followed by our starters. I ordered the minestrone marocain légèrement épicé comme à Tanger (Moroccan minestrone, lightly spiced as in Tangiers), and my wife the rillettes de crabe aux petits légumes et Granny Smith (shredded crab with little vegetables and pieces of Granny Smith apple). Both were delicious. For our main dishes I had a pavé de cerf (deer steak), which was ample and perfectly cooked. My wife had fish, also cooked to perfection. I don't recall the wine we ordered, but the choice was from wines that were at their peak (not just wines one or two years old), yet the prices were reasonable. One remark about the decore: it manages to be a bit traditional and modern at the same time, with reproductions of paintings by Modigliani and various early 20th-century (mainly French) artists adorning the wall.Overall, a restaurant worth going out of your way for."
