""She's back, hold on! "Family Restaurant, it serves the very good Indonesian Mediterranean cuisine. Very nice house, nice terrace. The map is well explained and the plates are generous. We really feel that he is simmered at home and cooked at the minute. We've tasted chicken peanut sauce and Ayoli gratinated cod, excellent. We will return to immersed beef and chicken that were not ready at the beginning of the service as still cook gently. Victims of their success at noon!"

"We live locally and have always avoided the riverside restaurants in Agde as they always appeared to be a tourist trap, serving average food at greatly inflated prices. However, on Most Agde Restaurants Are Closed Day (aka Monday) we decided to try Mare Nostrum and were very pleasantly surprised. The dishes were well thought-out, with little twists to presentation and flavour that really made the dining experience something novel. The service was friendly and humorous, and the setting is of course superb. (As the sun went down a couple of fishing boats came past, leading to the restaurant bobbing a little, which might upset those who are extremely sensitive to motion sickness, but for most it would be barely noticeable). If you're wanting to eat in a riverside setting in Agde, I'd definitely recommend this place."

"We have eaten here previously and decided to return as they were so accommodating to my Wife’s special needs last time. The Wife can be odd when choosing from a menu and feels that she has to make changes and she also has allergies to this, that and everything. Gillian who works front of house is so understanding and patient with my wife, she even involved Pascal, the head chef when choosing her dietary requirements and together they make my wife happy, and that’s not easy, believe me. The food here is delicious, ambience is super and the staff are so accommodating. We will definitely return on our next visit to Vias. So a big thank you to all at L’amandine."

"To go to Agde to sign the papers of my apartment, we stopped at the bistro with my father and mother-in-law. Very good meal with choice, quality products. My beautiful mother had a misunderstanding about tataki cuisine, I don't know if it's the manager, a blonde lady, brought her 3 pieces to compare the kitchen, it's very nice of her. We're having fun. The pleasure of returning"

The Café-Gourmand is particularly noticeable with mini versions of the delicious desserts on the menu; a higher quality than often served in other places. Even the coffee is good.
