Le Venezia - Piatti

We liked sitting outside and the location was great in the square. I saw they had some good wine selections. Their chicken dishes are very true to French food and delicious.

Have been here on many occasions, never fails to impress, food is always great, good selection of beers and wine and all combined with service with a smile, located in the heart of new Le Mans always worth a try.

Looked like a nice place, but when we ordered, what we got in the end was different. Pizza Margarita with ham? Entrecote 350g but 200g fat! And the chicken burger without blue cheese was full of it. We're still waiting for the burger replacement ???? Visualizza piatti

Ideal location right on the square. My husband ordered the American Burger it was huge and very good. I ordered the pizza. The nice thing is that you can order a petite size this is a great idea for smaller appetites. You can also order fries or a salad or whatever in addition. Unfortunately, the fries were not that good in comparison with elsewhere. But, they had great carafe wine.

Stopped initially for a drink outside, then decided to stay for dinner when we went inside and the dog was allowed in with us.The waiting staff were all very friendly and helpful, and there was a nice atmosphere.The boys had steaks which were OK and the girls had confit duck which was nicely cooked but with no sauce at all so the meal seemed dry. So overall the mains were average. We did have desserts as well, and these were nice - profiteroles and ice cream sundaes.

We arrived at 1850 but were told they could not take our order before 1900!! We were shown to a table but were not offered drinks. At 1905 someone took our order and eventually our pizzas appeared. The pizza base was really good but my tandoori chicken topping was disappointingly bland!! The highlight of the meal was the salted caramel creme brulee served with salted caramel ice cream. Endroit, accueil et service très agréable, déco intérieur sympa, terrasse extérieure sur une belle place piétonnière. Malgré que l'on avait pas réservé (pas mal de monde et des serveurs en moins). Nous avions 1/2 heures à attendre donc nous avons pris un apéro à l'intérieur. carte simple et copieuse. viande très très bonne (faux filet, burger, entrecôte black angus, fish and chips. petit point à améliorer car nous avons manger tard le soir, la lumière au niveau des parasols. signé les 5...

We didnt want to be fleeced innhe medieval quater so wandered over to the central district and looked for where the locals were eating. This place had mostly full seats outside at 12.30 on a sunny wednesday. Polite waiter staff asked if we wanted sunmor shade and we were sat promptly with ample room. Menu is salad...huge, pizzas...looked lovely but we chose the classic burger. We were asked how we wanted it cooked and it arrived with home made french fries, skins on, salad and bbq sauce in a pot.the burgers were large and tasty. We couldnt manage dessert but the coffee was lovley. You pay for your meal inside. Quick, unhasseled but filling. A nice hour passes for lunch. No other brits there....

After wandering through old Le Mans looking for a place to eat that would satisfy the differing tastes of my two teenagers, we walked on up to the town square and found Le Venezia.Much less posh than the restaurants in the old town, Le Venezia seemed the ideal choice for a quick but good meal after a long day. In addition we had the choice of eating inside or out – we chose the latter.The menu was varied and we all found something to eat – duck, fish (the special), entrecôte and pasta.
