"Afternoon snack for a grown up family of three, went downhill at pace. Initially, the lady who took out our was friendly, polite and patient in dealing with our broken French. However the issues began to arise, as soon as our food left the kitchen. Unfortunately, our food ended up on the wrong table (an easy mistake to make), and after the other table began to cut into our food, a male waiter shouted across the tables, ordering them to stop. The food was picked up from said table, and attempted to be served to ourselves. My son, who is the strongest French speaker in the family, declined the offer of our pre cut food. The waiter understood ourselves and took the food inside, only for it to reappear 2 minutes later, pre cut! At this point, I was less than impressed, and summonsed the waiter, to remove said food at once. I received no apology and when I used my broken French to ask for one, I was met with a blank look. Fortunately, when our fresh food arrived, a new waiter did apologise and gave an apologetic thumbs up as well. On top of this the food was overpriced and nowhere near value for money."

Stopped here for lunch while strolling through the old town Bergerac. Outdoor in a small square surrounded by very old buildings including a beautiful church. Very good menu choices at value for money prices. Service friendly, good, efficient. Recommend. Visualizza piatti

We stopped for a lunch as it seemed quite busy. We opted for the course menu for euros each. Starter was a salad that was just a huge bunch of leaves with no dressing or anything. Something you might feed a rabbit with....Didnt touch it. Main course was either pizza or steak with fries. Steak was hard as wood and the pizza was absolutely the most disgusting ever. Frozen one is times better. Dessert was crepes which were as stiff as the plate itself. When we complained the server said something in french, very irritated, then disappeared. Stay away from places like this.

Late October, sunny day, great opportunity to eat a light lunch in the sunshine BUT we were not alone in thinking this and the chef man and his two young lady servers were clearly overwhelmed by the demand! Slow very slow very very slow.....Sadly...one of our omelettes was incorrect, the other two were not cooked enough, watery from the chunky mushrooms and cheese still in its grated form in the centre and chilly too! The galette was ok. The fries were good and hot. The green salads were smothered in dressing. We challenged the bill and they didn’t charge for one omelette. Quite right Stop taking food orders or explain to folks about delay. Don’t rush the cooking time, serve the food corre...

"We went to L'Omelettaria for dinner with family and we were agreeably surprised by our experience there. Despite the fact that the restaurant was empty when we arrived which isn't that reassuring for a restaurant located in the very heart of the city, the owner was very friendly and welcomed us warmly. When it comes to the menu, options are varied; from omelets to salads and burgers, you can take your pick! There was also a correct amount of dessert options to choose from. As a pescatarian, I really appreciated the owner's thought of adding both vegetarian and pescatarian options to the menu which I believe and according to the menu we'd seen online weren't there before. Overall, the food was great: my mom and I both had the Atlantide omelet which consisted in an omelet filled with white asparagus and crème fraiche and topped with a slice of smoked salmon and lemon. My dad had the Paysanne omelet which was pretty filling; it was stuffed with mushrooms, cheese, potatoes and lardons. As for my sister, she had the Cheddar burger and it looked bomb. She loved it but couldn't finish it and honestly, I wouldn't have been able to finish it either because it was HUGE. Everything was served with a side of fries and salad which is nice and I NEED to mention that the fries are homemade and they are amazing. We thought we would still be hungry after dinner but it wasn't the case; considering the quality of the food and the fact that it is very filling, the prices are quite correct. Now, attention needs to be drawn towards the fact that the place in itself is not very noisy, but it is extremely close to a very busy street so it can get rapidly annoying. I do recommend this place, and I will absolutely do this again with friends in the summer after a few drinks at the bar which is a few steps away!"
