Les Deux Gourmands - Menu

Wonderful meal Sunday 26 August. We have eaten here often during the week for the plat du jour but the Sunday special menu is really worth trying.

We live in the area and have eaten here on a couple of occasions. It has a reputation for average, but cheap and filling, weekday lunches but very good Sunday lunches. A reputation it probably deserves. Popular with local workers.

We had an excellent and inexpensive meal here. We had plat de jour, three courses, but the right size not too much food. Very simple, but delicious. Local wine was included for €13. Outside is unstoppable, but inside it is a tasteful...modern dining room. Plan to take a party back next week.

Monday lunch. A simple but tasty lunch perfectly cooked and served with a smile, this place is unique. Sunday lunch and it is fine food on a scale not really found around these parts, by the week a large menu of hour kind... place, but the culture of fine cuisine is not forgotten. With regard to the price-performance ratio, ambience and quality of food, Kes Ceux cannot be beaten

Despite having an extensive menu we opted for the plat de jour. We weren't disappointed. Better than most restaurants in the town's this small place opposite a factory may not look appealing at first but it is worth a detour. Only open at lunchtime it's...a place where the French go to eat. What makes it even more enjoyable is they don't speak English so great to try out those phrases without embassment! Try it out you won't be disappointed!

My husband and I has an excellent Sunday lunch, food, wine and service absolutely perfect. Unfortunately this was not the case when my son and his girlfriend visited the following Sunday. The food was excellent, but the service ruined the experience for them. The waitress...ignored the couple, serving them after all the other diners, and then just put the food on the table without a smile or any other pleasantries. Such a shame as they had been looking forward to their lunch based on our our very different experience the week before.

After a recent very disappointing local lunch we needed some reassurance and we got it at this delightful restaurant . 7 of us came for the 13 euro lunch .. Mussels to start... Ham with mustard sauce for main course and a delicious dessert of...caramel profiteroles with ice cream best I've ever had .. Litres of red and rose wine and coffee included . Everything attractively presented and prepared .. Served by a delightful waitress . This is heavenly .. Does not break the bank and must be one of the best meals we've had in more than 40 years of touring France . A bit out of the way and opposite a factory/ warehouse but NOT to be missed.

This restaurant is located in a small village and is open only for lunch (except Saturdays). It is opposite a fairly large industrial building and you will rub shoulders with local craftsmen, but don't let that stand out. During the week a three-course lunch with wine and coffee is served for €13.50. Other more expensive menus are available. Sunday lunch is considerably more expensive and majors connected to dinner with duck. It is very popular and the booking is necessary. The menu “menu de jour” is carefully thought through, changes every day, and the quality is excellent. We joined the English owner of our wonderful gite just up the road, La Gare de Sos, an his mother for a relaxed lunch in the recently renovated restaurant. Call ahead to find out the daily lunch menu and reserve. For 12€, we enjoyed a...three course meal with wine and coffee. Because one of our party does not eat pork, the chef graciously substituted a fish crepe with a delicious tumeric cream sauce for the quiche that was the starter for the day 's menu. A duck leg braised with vegetables and a hearty brown sauce came with spaghetti. Fresh bread grabbed every morsel.
