"Our family were staying in Altapura for the week so it made sense for us to use our half board allowance at this restaurant. Do be careful about the allowance, but the staff are very flexible about sharing dishes so maximum benefit can be obtained....The children 's menu looked great for my nine year old but the cooking was a little too sophisticated for her, e.g. her burger was too rare, and the brownie was full of nuts. Although both were utterly delicious, it was more suited to adults. The rest of the dishes were very successful. My older children both had the lobster with linguine, described as amazing ; lemon sole and scollops were also divine. Puddings were equally scrumptious. The staff were friendly, professional and prompt. However for a fine dining experience, the decor was bizarre and I feel out of place with such sophisticated dining e.g. flashing disco lights and red carpet on the walls. Because of the surroundings the clientele tended to be quite young, or families. Great venue if staying in the hotel and fine food if not."

had dinner twice and was never disappointed with food quality. one night I had steak that was great. another night the seafood that was super fresh and very well made! steh up! super service also!

the appetizers were quite good, but my filet de rindmeat was cold ending over boiled, but waiter did not come until my man finished his court and I had no chance to complain! prices are quite expensive, but nothing special. we will never go again!

Really nice experience! The fish is fresh and delicious and as a starter you need to taste the crab or the green salad with truffle! We had a top service of Damien! Booked for valentines special dinner as we were staying at the hotel no effort made to transform this to a 'romantic setting ', food not as described on menu, portions incredibly tiny and almost a joke! all could have been prepared in advance and...not anywhere near the quality of a Michelin restaurant severely overpriced. Waiter tried to upswell wine with no reason given except 'that cheaper one is poor ', part way through the meal we felt we had had enough and left, refusing to pay for what was obviously a total money spinner for the hotel and the 13 people that booked!

We haven 't been to VT for a few years but we have been coming on and off for decades . We were ecstatic when some new and exciting restaurants opened and were really keen to support them. So, having sampled the fantastic cocktails in the...hotel bar, we decided to dine here. The service was great but that is the last of the positives The interior of the restaurant is dark red and black. I saw some poor chap having to use his iPhone to read the menu.The amuse bouche was cold mashed potato which I found totally unappealing. The curried lobster was so undercooked it could have been resuscitated.Having never eaten curry in France we were delight to espy it on the menu, sadly, it was not to be....
