"We visited here on our second night in Paris. It was walking distance to our hotel. We made a reservation, but didn't need one as it is July and no place out of the main tourist area is very busy. We liked the fact that there were no other Americans, just locals it seemed. The food was good, basic cuisine - but everything seemed fresh. Not an extensive wine list, but what we had was very good. I wasn't sure which rose to have and the waitress took it upon herself to bring two tastes (I didn't ask) and did a blind taste test. The dessert was good as well. We had a disaster the next night (do NOT go to Au Metro14 - see my review), and left without finishing. We decided to pop back into Les Frangines and had wine and dessert and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Just a really nice experience."

Excellent small restaurant typical of Paris. The chef in the kitchen is a genius. We eat very well, at reasonable prices. I also recommend for the quality of the service. To attend without moderation.

Nice bistro, quality of the food we ate, not very special. steak wasn't a point, though, was asked to.Tartare was good fresh and mal, but without eggs, hairdrivers and outs... Wine was fine. I expect more authenticity and quality.

This restaurant is on a live street in montparnasse, the turky loose end. We had lunch here through the formula midi: For-and main course for 16 euros pp, the choice is sufficient and the dishes were served fast and tasty, despite the pressure. The service is kind. A rapist!
