Good place to eat for lunch or dinner, I like the steak and chips. Beer is cold and tasty. outdoor play park for the kids, well the adults enjoy relaxing by the river.

beautiful place on the river, service a little slow, but if they have time, it is no problem. always go for the mush and the salate here. beautifully fresh, large portions and good taste.

We only had drinks this time but this restaurant is in a lovely spot to spend time watching the river and the boats going up and down. There is also water skiing further up the river. The service was good and there are tables inside and outside. Visualizza piatti

really nice location, but very disappointing service- lasted minutes to take drinks order. it took about an hour to come to eat, had to ask for our food, or we never had it. It was okay. when I told the manager about the ones, he was very angry and refused to believe me. not the location

Only went for the music. The cuisine isn't great and the waiting staff are terrible, never smile and if you want service you have to constantly call them. This is the second time we've gone for the music but we won't bother going back. There are other places close by which are far better.

Good location right on the edge of the Charente. It is very busy during holiday times and of course through the summer. Meals are expensive for what they are but it is a good location to stop for a drink and/or ice cream and watch the boats travelling up and down the river. We are here on a busy Saturday evening. The staff at first weren't very welcoming and it took a while for the menus to arrive, but service did improve. We chose the 16€ menu. The starter of salad with Camembert wrapped in filo was delicious. Good mains - salmon, steak or gammon with chips/rice. Delicious chocolate mousse or ice cream for dessert. Good value. Great location right on the river. The children's menu was really good for 7€. Well worth a visit in this beautiful sleepy town.

We'd visited nearby Port d'Envaux and spotted the red sun umbrellas along the bank as we crossed the river bridge en route home. it looked a nice spot so we drove down to where there's parking available at the end of the building or along the access road. The cafe has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating plus picnic type tables on the river bank. The girl behind the counter was also waiting tables and she was extremely friendly and quick to take our orders which consisted of hot and cold drinks plus Peach Melba. It was a hot and muggy day but there was a welcome imtermitant breeze which made it a very pleasant spot overlooking the river, watching kids swimming and passing river cruise boats....

Visit here for a day whilst passing through and had a spot of lunch and a beer which in all fairness is a great location and at 6.5euro for a plate of food wasn't to bad so we decided to revisit as was the only place in the small town open .. We ordered the steak and duck which arrived with frozen chips and after trying two mouths of each dish we nearly worn our teeth down trying to break the poor quality meat down .. The lady serving was miserable and lack of customer service was abundant.. The drink are served with no love I.e ice, lemon and we had to try and grab her attention for many things but ended up getting up off the table to get another knife off the next table then salt and peppe...
