A great value for money restaurant close to the centre of Aime. Plat de jour for very good value for money. Friendly and efficient service. Fish and chips excellent.

Very good reception, fresh and well cooked products. Correct prices (17€ the menu of the day) and well served. Correct service with friendly and smiling staff. Doing or redoing. Don't hesitate.

The burger was very good and the vegetables with excellent accompaniment. I had a good idea by choosing them instead of fries. It's a shame that all the à la carte dishes are not available at noon. Visualizza piatti

Very good restaurant, I highly recommend. The interior decoration is cosi, the staff is very welcoming and caring for the well-being of customers. The kitchen is excellent and copyy. Very good address!

We have lunch on weekdays at the stopover. Arrival at 12:15, there were already many people and almost exclusively inhabitants. The restaurant offers a noon formula (cheese entry coffee plate for less than 20 euros). However, you will not have the choice of dishes. They had taste and were made at home. A real family business where everyone makes you feel welcome. The food is prepared by two brothers who have never let us down on the taste front, even if sometimes when we go at lunchtime we have arrived too late and there is nowhere left...to sit. The plat du jour represents a very fair deal and the wine is always good quality and fairly priced. The Escale is a restaurant with no pretensions which serves good traditional food at a very fair price for the quality. I recommend this place for lunch or dinner without hesitation.

Referred to us by the mechanics at a bike shop, we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at L’escale. The plat du jour, at was lasagne that was nicely layered and cheesy. The salad savoyenne was hearty and there was also a tasty endive salad. A...dish of veal scallops and roasted vegetables was also excellent and well priced at Desserts, to include a tarte praline, an over-the-top Monte Blanc, and a well-executed cream brûlée, were all priced at The welcome was friendly from all and a special effort was made to seat our party of seven. While not a fancy establishment, if you are interested in a genuine experience with good, solid food, I would recommend this restaurant.

Arriving in Aime early evening before catching the night train to Paris we wandered round and found many places not yet open before seeing the flashing knife and fork sign on Escale from the high street. Such signs aren't normally associated with good eating, but...as soon as we walked in the door we knew we had found somewhere good. Having established our train wasn't for a couple of hours the owner got us drinks in the bar area until the restaurant itself opened about We had the very reasonably priced four course set menu. Even in the Alps the scallops in the starter were good and the steak was cooked exactly the way we liked. The other options we picked were equally delicious. All in all... Visualizza piatti
