overall the food is correct but the waiting is intolerable (bad cooking organization, lack of staff). Too bad because the frame is pleasant.

My son and I had the Hausburger one of the best I ever had. He followed him with a crepe while I had the local cheese. The staff were very friendly, very busy with locals who tell you a lot!!

Just 25 minutes from the Ouistreham Ferry Terminal and 10 minutes from the Pegasus Bridge, you will find a charming seaside town. 8 of us had a nice meal here, no complaints from anyone. The food was excellent as the service. We liked Merville-Franceville-Plage as... it was a quieter oasis during the day anniversary, a beautiful oasis from the masses.

Looking for a special place to a few... they fit us into a complete restaurant, on a weekend. We were treated like royal. Excellent food. Up and beyond the service. I chose it after I saw the Desserts Fait maison. And because they fit me... in. We were treated regularly as fit. Service really, really excellent. Food also excellent. Absolutely a great place to pamper yourself without spending a fortune. Great wine list, too.

Sunday noon, after having booked (it's best), we were very well welcomed, with smile and good mood. the decor is original, the sea view is appreciable and the staff is in small care. the kitchen is of very good quality and served in good quantity. a mention for the dish of the day that was grilled bar net, quite exceptional. the value ratio is when to him very honest in view of the quality of the kitchen. very good general impression, I'd probably go back there to affirm my opinion.

Im not a great seafood lover,so we ate here as it had a couple of meat choices. The tables for 2 were rather small,and when we we tried to go to a 4 seater table,we were told to sit at a 2 seater by a...very bullish lady! The menu was in french and i have a basic understanding,but when i asked about a couple of the fish dishes for my wife,she didnt want to explain,and fetched another waitress to take the order. The food was not very nice,and the whole attitude of the staff confirmed a TV article i had seen about the rudeness of French restaurants and cafes ,especially towards foreigners,something that even the french pressident has asked to be addressed! pleasant reception in a very friendly setting. there are still few people and the ordering is fast as the service. visibly, we arrived hairy at the right time. our direct neighbours arrived at the same time that our mussels had still not ordered as we had finished our dish for a while and decided to leave. the mussels were good without being extraordinary. We waited a good time to order a dessert (20 minutes) and finally, we dropped, waiting becoming painful. a pity that the organization of the service is not more reactive because we must not be the only ones to get impatient. for the rest, prices, frame and quality of the dishes, everything is rather positive. we will go back out of season...

We have chosen a menu for a getaway (up to 24,50€ if my memories are good). The meal was pretty good overall even if the cream burned was not prepared at the minute (not hot at the top and cold below what usually makes its charm). The service was medium. the entrance was served very quickly after the aperitif, we had barely begun our drinks. the demand for the replacement of meat by a chopped steack was not accepted ("it is difficult because in the kitchen they are in the middle of a jam" while many tables were not occupied in the room and terrace !). To start with I am confused by the previous reviews. We chose this by chance, not having read any trip advisor reviews at this point. We turned up following a 3 hour drive from Paris and visited the restaurant @9pm on a Friday night. This...was the busiest of the eateries in the area usually a good sign), we were found a table and brought drinks straight away. There is no menu to hand out, it is all listed outside or chalked on a blackboard in side. We order steak and chips which was cooked medium and was melt in the mouth good.
