Been here several times, always brilliant food and wonderful service. A lovely place, full of character and the fire is fantastic in the winter months to keep you warm. Can’t wait to come back.

Visiting The Livesey over the years I have noticed that the experience can vary quite a lot. Currently they are on fine form. Great food and drink served by friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. My wife was delighted with her Barnsley Chop. Nice decor too.

I went to this village restaurant with friends for Sunday lunch. It was busy, but had everything we were looking for. The home cooked food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the service was friendly and quick. The value for money was perfect compared to the quality of the food. I will definitely be returning.

The Livesey is always bustling, and we have been regulars for a few years now. The atmosphere is consistently great. When we visited with friends on a Thursday evening, the bar was lively with friendly chatter, and the restaurant had a cozy and welcoming vibe. Jo took care of us, and I started with the chilli prawns before moving on to a delicious sirloin steak. My friends opted for the venison, which they raved about, and the filet steak, which they assured me was amazing.
