"This was my first visit to the restaurant and I had high expectations. Although the food and drinks were good, I was disappointed by the service and staff. We did not feel welcomed by the staff who took our order and felt rushed, even though the restaurant was not full. There were a lot of junior staff members focused on clearing and setting tables, but the manager would constantly reset them to his liking. We felt neglected by the staff, including the manager, and were not asked about our meal. After our main plates were cleared, we waited for 40 minutes before finally asking for the bill as we were not offered dessert or any kind of acknowledgment. It was unfortunate because the food was actually quite good. When we expressed our feelings, the waiter seemed indifferent. Overall, the experience left us dissatisfied. This is not how a restaurant should be operated. I do not recommend this restaurant. After reading other reviews, it seems that others have had a similar experience."

Mum I came to this restaurant to have a late lunch. Super professional courtesy attentive staff. Food was taste and responsible portions. Great choice, excellent atmosphere worth a visit.

This restaurant in East Grinstead is a hidden gem. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is inviting, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Can't wait for the new area at the back to open up.

Just had the big breakfast (and a pint). **** good distribution. Not only was it generous and really delicious (because of the decent ingredients), but it was presented beautifully. I definitely come back

Consistently good food, cocktails and customer service. You can also make cocktails on request that are not on the menu. The best place to eat and drink in East Grinstead. Thank you for always looking for us B

This was my first time trying the food at this restaurant, and I have always found it difficult to secure a table here because it is so popular. I ordered the Steak Benedict and found it to be just decent, although my companions seemed to enjoy their meals without any issues. The atmosphere can feel a bit exclusive at times, but I have also stopped by for drinks and found that the bartenders are very friendly and skilled at making delicious cocktails!

BIG UPDATE hatred and his team turned it around in a great way. We had a young boy who was amazing as a waiter and despite him a lady who was a little wrong in her attitude, he made the place and visited amazingly. The food I had pictures of how it was nice and I must say from my last visit, the quality has risen to another level. While there were a few people who first wanted hate and his team to hurry, and our experience was great and we will come back soon. Food presentation, flavour and prices were good. Actually in this first visit everything was pretty on point! The experience as a whole was just slightly let down by some strange staff. I asked one staff member a question but she just walked away not even acknowledging the question. Maybe she didn 't think I was talking to her, although it was quite obvious as I was looking directly at her face while speaking .
