"The most perfect location to sit and enjoy the sea view right next to the beach. It's worth taking a trip here just for this. The staff were friendly and efficient. The lunch menu is a little basic, offering a choice of sandwiches, rolls, toasted paninis or a pot of prawns, but this would be perfectly acceptable if what is served is of a good standard. Unfortunately that's not the case. It seemed that the bread for the sandwiches and the bap rolls had been picked up along the road at Tesco rather than making the effort to source higher quality bakery products. Cheap margerine had been used on the bread and the roll which had quite an unpleasant taste. The prawns in the sandwich were quite wet and watery. There is a choice of a salad garnish or coleslaw alongside the sandwiches- why not both? The coleslaw was nothing special, and definitely not home made. There is scope here to make improvements which would make such a difference. As locals we would return regularly if the food was better. Please just add a pound to all your prices and up the quality. Until then, I'd return for coffee and cake but lunch is to be avoided."

I just tried the ice cream and it was all delicious, and reasonably priced. There is outdoor seating where you can sit and enjoy the view while savoring a drink or a lovely ice cream.

Very nice. We called in for a beer on the way back from a walk but we found out that they can only serve alcohol if you buy food. We decided to stay and we both had panini which was nice.

Located right on the seafront, this restaurant offers a laid-back and relaxed atmosphere. The staff is cheerful, helpful, and efficient, and the food is delicious and made with fresh ingredients.

Had an excellent full English breakfast at The Long boat cafe yesterday. Sat outside and the food was fab as were the really friendly staff. Just under a tenner for cooked breakfast and mug of tea. Highly recommend.

please teach your staff how to make coffee. I ordered a oat milk flat white and watched it being made and it was so hot and burnt it was almost undrinkable . so many places have the same issues . Training is so important to make good coffee and keep people coming back.

We have stopped off here several times this summer for breakfast or an ice-cream. Last week we were just in time to order breakfast before the kitchen shut to get ready for lunch. Despite this the staff were polite and friendly and the food freshly cooked and delicious. The covered seating area is a great idea. Dog friendly. Would recommend. Visualizza piatti

We decided to try out this restaurant for a meal, as we usually just get ice cream. I ordered a bacon and scallop sandwich with salad, and my partner had a cheese and sun dried tomato panini. We also had soft drinks, and the total bill came to less than £20, which we thought was a great deal. They even gave our small dog a half of a sausage as a treat. I would definitely go back, especially since I live nearby.

Really good sandwiches and their milk shakes are beyond reproach--made with your choice of ice cream and fresh milk. Lovely location right on the sea front. Avoid the coffee--used to be good but is now dispensed via a push button machine. These are sold to establishments like the Longboat as a fresh coffee machine because it does grind beans, but the coffee still tastes horrid. They may save the cafe time, but they cost custom and reputation for quality...
