We’ve been going to this restaurant for about 15 years, every time we’re in Florence. The food is consistently delicious and the service wonderful. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a great evening of dining!

Giovanni è stato uno dei nostri ristoranti preferiti da oltre un decennio. Ha attraversato un brutto periodo verso la fine del Covid, ma siamo felici di scoprire che aveva riacquistato la sua eccellenza. Overall, we believe that L' Osteria di Giovanni is overrated (and over priced for the quality of the food we had)! The ambiance was lovely, however, the smoked duck appetizer was too salty and our filet mignon was tough and didn't have a lot of flavor. We felt a bit rushed and our waiter was just ok (not very friendly). We were looking forward to this dinner but we were very disappointed! I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.....there are other places that we ate where the food had much better quality. Visualizza piatti
