got this visit as a gift and didnt know what to exspect . quite a good choice on the menu and portion size was good . had full english breakfast was served well by young staff.

Beautiful scenery and surroundings, the only sounds are the birds and the tinkling of water from the fountains on the terrace , all that and perfect company what more could you ask or wish for. Visualizza piatti

Lovely treat for my friends birthday tomorrow in a lovely friendly atmosphere. Andy the waiter looked after us so well. Thank you to all the staff it’s a lovely Hotel with lovely views can’t wait to come back.

We had booked in November and decided to dine at 2pm on Xmas Day. That was a very good call as the restaurant was not too busy and there were plenty of waiting staff available. We were greeted enthusiastically and our drinks order taken straight away. We had a four course meal with an extensive menu and everything about it was marvellous.

I had a pleasant Sunday lunch, although I was disappointed with the size and quality of one of the desserts. It was tiny and not worth the price - just one strawberry, one raspberry, and three blueberries in mini tarts! I probably should have sent it back, but the waitress and manager thanked me for my feedback without offering a discount. I wouldn't come back for dessert, but the rest of the food was tasty. Hetland Hall offers a lovely outdoor area for enjoying drinks outside, as well as a cozy indoor bar lounge for when the weather isn't ideal. The outdoor area features fountains and a pleasant view of the lawn. We enjoyed our time in both the indoor and outdoor lounges, with a good selection of beverages and bar meals available. We look forward to returning and utilizing these pleasant areas in and around the hotel.

My son and daughter took me here for an early Mothers Day treat. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and beautifully lit. The staff are cheery and helpful. We opted for the afternoon tea choice ordering for 4 people instead of 3 as it's the most cost effective don't ask). Nice selection of finger sandwiches, scones with jam and clotted cream and a variety of bite sized cakes served with tea or coffee. Pity about the weather because outside is gorgeous and the view stunning. Good luck to the new management as they've spent a fortune on this place.

My 89-year-old father frequents this restaurant almost every week for a meal. The staff, especially Bryce and Andy, are very attentive to him. He enjoys the lunches so much that he invited me to join him yesterday. The menu offers a great selection of food and we were warmly welcomed. For starters, Dad ordered a Tomato Soup with a hot crusty roll. I opted for the Braised Beef with New Potatoes, Carrots, and Parsnip, served with a delicious Horseradish Gravy. The beef was incredibly tender and perfectly cooked. Dad had the Cumberland Sausage and Steak Pie, which was large with a flaky pastry and plenty of meat, served with chips and vegetables.
