"Have used the Lua for many years and always been very pleased with the whole experience. The last couple of times we felt the service had deteriorated. Tonight we went and it was awful. We arrived early to have a drink before we went into dinner. We ordered a bottle of wine and it was bought by our usual waiter who, unfortunately, let the tray slip and a glass slipped, smashing and cutting my arm. He was mortified and couldn't apologise enough. My friend went off to find dressings. Sorted, and we went into dinner. 20 mins later and no one had taken a drinks order or enquired as to condition of my arm. We then asked to speak to someone in charge. The manager came over and put a proper dressing on my arm as it was still bleeding quite badly. Still no drinks had arrived nor had our food order been taken. We had ordered some alioli but a bottle of red wine had arrived instead! Despite all of this no one offered any apology for what had happened. Drinks had still not arrived so we decided to call it a day and leave. We will not be back. After many years of giving regular business to Lua this has left a very bad taste in our mouths. It is such a shame as it's a beautiful restaurant serving wonderful food but the service has gone to pot."

Sitio recomendado si vienes a Vera. El servicio es muy atento, no falta detalle. El arroz de rape es un espectáculo. Veraneo en vera durante muchos años y es un sitio donde no dudo en repetir.

All I can say is that I went today for a birthday lunch. The menu selection is wonderful The food was sublime I have people watched in many bars but today I waiter watched. The staff were 100% fantastic

La verdad es que sería difícil priorizar los principales aspectos a valorar ya que todos obtendrían la mejor nota. El trato, tanto de Juani hasta sentarnos, como de Luis y Alicia en la mesa merece ser destacado. La comida muy muy buena, el consejo sobre el vino, súper acertado y el precio bastante acorde con este restaurante. Si tenemos ocasión, volveremos sin dudarlo. Visualizza piatti

El restaurante está estupendamente decorado. El ambiente es de alto nivel, desde los camareros hasta un señor cortando jamón en la entrada. La ensalada de tomate raf con bonito estaba buena, sin más. Probamos los medallones de rodaballo, que estaban bien. De postre el helado de turrón de Jijona estaba muy bueno, pero la sopa de chocolate blanco era mejorable. En general sitio recomendable pero me pareció un poco de postureo.

Siempre ha sido mi restaurante favorito. El otro día me lleve una gran decepción. Pedimos un vino Do Albariño. Cuál fue mi sorpresa, cuando el camarero que me servía el vino, (la botella estaba girada para no poder ver la etiqueta) me llenó la copa de un vino que conozco perfectamente ya que es habitual en mi casa, se marchaba y le hice que me enseñara la botella. Cuando le dije que no era D O Albarino, si no un vino gallego de Rías Baixas, se sorprendió e intento hacerme ver que si lo era. Se marcho dejando la copa llena, tardo en traer una botella de DO Albariño y nos sirvió. Es una pena, que te quieran meter un vino que no es, el que has pedido.
