"My family and I attempted to have lunch here in July 2016. I say “attempted” because I never actually got any food! First, the service here is really slow, even by more relaxed European standards. We waited a long time to order or receive any drinks or food. The two waiters seemed overwhelmed. We got our drinks and food for our children. However, they forget to bring the food for my wife and I. Once I got tired of waiting, I sought out the servers and they admitted the mistake and apologized. While I appreciated their sincerity, we needed to go, and I left without receiving my meal. I did not receive a discount for their mistake, and I paid full price for our drinks and childrens’ plates. I will not return."

Food was delicious. Extraverted, talkative service with a distinctive sense of humour. Overall it was an okay lunch.

A lot of good food for a small amount of money. Got a starter and a main and had to leave food on the plate. Freindly staf and the food were freshly made.

M7 offers 2 vegetarion and even vegan dishes - a rare event in Saxony-Anhalt. The food was delicious, the staff friendly and helpful, the prices moderate, the location itself kept very nicely.

A well located restaurant on Market place, but sadly when we ate there for dinner on a Sunday evening, not a good idea, the meal was cold and when pointed out to the waitress, she just shrugged her shoulders. Tip, do not eat there on a Sunday night!

Not much going on in the town and few restaurants. we liked the street look of the restaurant which looked empty, but down some stairs ins a small but crowded restaurant. Service excellent. Ambience great. Food was inventive and fun. good wine list. should be ranked higher.

we went to the restaurant after reading a few comments here and was hoping to have a great dinner and we were not disappointed. Nice cozy place at the central of the town and the staff was really friendly. The menu was quite small but the food was really tasty. The only minus of the food was the fresh veggi part of the meal was somehow missing. I would recommend the place to ones who want to have some other options rather than the "traditional German food" :-)

Recommended by our hotel, M7 didn't disappoint. The magnificent situation on the town square overlooking the superb town hall is already a plus. Service original and warm. Food an interesting mixture of clever ideas: the geschnetzeltes we had wouldn't have been recognized in Zurich (veal cut in too big pieces and too much cream in the sauce) but it was a very successful take on a traditional recipe. Nice wine selection for those trying to break out of the German staples.

Had an interesting menu. We started out on the street during a hot afternoon in a stretch of otherwise poor weather but the inevitable happened and we took the seat cushions and ran inside for dessert. The only downside was the rather German take on Saltimbocca, which had the sage and ham inside a very substantial piece of veal rather than around it, the veal being somewhat chewy, despite being cooked pink. Good view of the market place when it's not being dug up. Otherwise great.

Service was a bit obligatory, not really personal attention. Waitresses were busy with other things than the guests, Wanted the check, but no waitress to be seen. Went to the cash register to pay and even there there was nobody, for several minutes...Food was OK, not bad, but nothing special, I could have done it myself (and I am not a great cook)Good chice of wines, Somewhat funny order of the menu, starting with coffee and desert, then the wines and then the starters and main courses, but oh well .
