"Went there for dinner. Food was average, but level of service is so awful that i have to write about it: receptionist greets with „Buona Sera“ but when i responded in Italian that i have a reservation, she admitted she doesn’t speak Italian ...other waiters instead don’t speak a word of German after 10 minutes finally a junior ? waiter came to take our drink order; he wasn’t allowed to take the food order 10 minutes later the senior ? waiter took our food order. Either he has the attention span of a 2 year old or he’s just useless: 20 minutes later they brought 3 out of 4 dishes; they had forgotten a child’s pasta they food i ordered was incomplete too after dinner we asked for two espressos and the check; they never brought the check after reminding them 3 times we finally got the check from the senior ? waiter; they never checked back we simply walked out; the junior ? waiter saw us walk out, looked into the other direction and walked off, instead of thanking us for paying this awful place a visit! If that’s how they operate, they’ll be out of business within 12 months!"

"Wir waren mit Freunden bei Rocco und bekamen einen Außenplatz zugewiesen. Da es an diesem Tag schön sonnig war, waren wir auch einverstanden, um die letzten Sonnenstrahlen des Tages zu genießen. Persönlich finde ich die Inneneinrichtung jedoch schöner und hochwertiger als den Außenbereich. Zumal ich letztendlich einen Blick auf die Mülltonnen hatte (siehe Foto) und manchmal auch das Gefühl, es weht ein Duft des Abfalls rüber (kann aber auch Einbildung gewesen sein).Der Kellner war sehr freundlich und hat uns die Empfehlung des Tages genannt, die nicht auf der Karte stand. Außerdem hatte er uns einen Apperitif empfohlen, der hervorragend geschmeckt hat und gut zum Wetter gepasst hat. Zum Apperitif wurde Brot und ein Dip gereicht.Die Karte bietet nicht nur die typischen italienischen Speisen wie Pizza und Pasta, sondern auch Burger und Steaks. Toll auch, dass es Pizza ohne Tomatensauce gibt. Sehr interessant! Zur Vorspeise haben wir uns für gratinierten Ziegenkäse auf Pfirsichen. Einfach perfekt!Als Hauptspreise wählten wir Steaks, Filet und Lasagne. Das Filet mit Gorgonzolasauce war vorzüglich! Der Salat dazu passend. Was mir weniger gefallen hat war, dass man für das Filet bezahlt und dann noch extra für die Sauce (3 Euro) und den Salat (4 Euro). Da kommt man schnell auf einen ordentlichen Preis für den Hauptgang! Meines Erachtens sollte eine Beilage bereits inkludiert sein.Zum Dessert waren wir dann nicht mehr in der Lage, weil wir wirklich alle sehr gut und reichlich gegessen hatten.In Summe sind wir ca. 200 Euro für vier Personen los geworden. Dabei hatten wir noch nicht einmal Wein zum Essen sondern nur Bier und Cola. Auch ein Dessert fehlte noch. Zusammenfassend lässt sich sagen: Rocco Italian Grill & Bar ist ein sehr schönes Restaurant mit sehr freundlichen Personal, einem tollen Konzept (der Metzger aus Sizilien) und einer ausgefallenen Speisekarte. Einen Punkt ziehe ich ab für den Blick auf die Mülltonnen und das Baukastenprinzip beim Hauptgang.Ein Besuch lohnt sich jedoch auf jeden Fall."

"We ordered the second time here today. Okay, I have to confess something went wrong twice. Once a Paneer Naan was forgotten, but it was delivered without any condition) and today there was a “order misunderstanding”. Here, too, the food was immediately reacted and we were supplied completely super quickly. All were really very friendly and professional. The food is really very, very delicious. And by the kindness and the great food we will surely order here again. We also ordered directly at the restaurant and not via Deliveryando! At least the restaurant does not have to pay any fees to Deliveryando. You also pay the same prices for the dishes as with Deliveryando. Only the prices have not been updated on the homepage. The dishes are therefore cheaper. So, as I said, super delicious Indian dishes. It's worth it."

"We are Indians but having lived a longtime away from India makes us those expats craving for the right taste of India. This joint surely does North Indian food right.Each serving is good for two people. The food is authentic, not diluted for German tastes, you can always tell while ordering that it is ok that the food is hot tasting. The service is good, they are aware if you are with kid and arrange for a comfortable seating arrangement. The star of any Indian restaurant should be the food, and the manager here has made sure that it is the case. We always (this is one of the several occasions were have been here) feel that the consistency is maintained the quality is high and the food shines.The service is good, the quality of cutlery and ambience is ok. They have done some good measures but when you are enjoying each morsel I seldom think about these things.Our son likes the food, we are delighted by the taste for we do not eat the same food everyday (all our German friends must understand this is not everyday food, it is celebratory Indian food, so rich in taste and energy content :) ).Cheers!"

"we have been eating several times in the la vida. Mostly due to lack of direct alternatives in the environment. the first impression has been confirmed continuously. the restaurant itself is atmospheric and cozy, as the tables are quite apart. a continuous concept is not recognizable, a mix of Spanish-Portuguese food and typical German food is offered. you should choose a direction and consistently go through it. the service is in order, we have experienced warmer, friendly and more attentive customer orientation in the direct surrounding area. unfortunately, the kitchen and thus the price/performance ratio also reflect this. the foods (especially the tapas) are often boiled and tastefully as well as visually little authentic, sometimes only warmed and not freshly prepared. a cheese plate made of cheese in slices (from the super market), without arrangement like oliven etc. The salads are unfortunately also arranged little nicely and only provided with a few clecksen dressing - without any spices. when then the noodles were reached to the main course (cold meat, unfortunately too strongly heated and therefore tough) only when the food was already cold again, the disappointment was complete. another chance we will give to the la vida only if all the alternatives in the surrounding have closed, the price/performance ratio is currently not justified. with a little more effort (the impression is created, one rests on the location advantage in falkenstein) and a clear gastronomic concept with a stringent offer you could create an appealing locality."
