"A Culinary Journey to Greece: Odyssey Restaurant I recently had the pleasure of dining at Odyssey Restaurant not just once, but twice, and both experiences left me positively enchanted. From the scrumptious food to the warm and attentive staff, this Greek gem managed to transport me to the charming tavernas of Greece with its delightful atmosphere. Let's start with the true star of the show: the food. Odyssey Restaurant takes great pride in their culinary creations, and rightfully so. Every dish I ordered surpassed my expectations and left my taste buds dancing with joy. The flavors were authentic, the ingredients fresh, and the presentation impeccable. Whether it was the tender and juicy souvlaki or the mouthwatering moussaka, each bite was a mesmerizing journey through the rich and diverse Greek cuisine. What sets Odyssey apart from other establishments is their friendly and helpful staff. From the moment you step foot inside, you are greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality. The servers take the time to guide you through the menu, offering insightful recommendations and ensuring that your dining experience is nothing short of exceptional. "Wow, I'm reading these negative reviews in shock because my experience the twice I've been couldn't be more different. The staff from the moment we stepped in were very attentive and friendly, they couldn't do better. Drinks and food arrived in very good time compared to many places. The food itself is fabulous, everything me or my companions have had has been 1st class, for starters the soup is excellent, tasty and thick not the watery garbage I see elsewhere. But the scallops, deep fried brie and prawn crayfish cocktail all got a hearty thumbs up. The main event of course is the steaks, well the sirloin, fillet and t-bone have been fabulous, best I've had anywhere around here. Sides are equally good, the large cut chips, sweet potato fries, and rosemary herb potatoes are all excellent. I'm afraid I can't comment on deserts, we've never had room for one. All in all I couldn't fault the entire experience!"

"Although the aesthetics look good I can't say the same for the service and food. Told my order at the bar hadn't gone through when it had then they agreed it had otherwise I would have paid them twice The meal we booked had the finest starters. My main was beef stroganoff which had 99 per cent mushrooms in it. I returned the dish then waited what felt like an age and then got served what looked and tasted like bisto gravy with a few strips of what tasted just like liver. I gave up left it and ordered a dessert as I was hungry. Then as it was getting late bar staff started spraying disinfectant next to me in the bartop whilst other staff milled around with mop buckets. Ordered a cookie and vanilla ice cream sandwich. Waitress came out with double chocolate cookie and chocolate ice cream which I didnt order an d don't like them waltzed off . In fact they all did. We were up there totally on our own where you are supposed to pay at your table . After waiting a bit we went downstairs and tried to pay at the other bar where I complained. They gave me 50 per cent off my stroganoff and apologised. Then mix up with my payment again . Eventually got out of there. It ruined our evening which was meant to be a celebration and feel let down by The Hunloke."

"The food here is excellent. Very tasty and well presented. I was also surpised at the decent portions that were brought to the table. Had Garlic Bread for starter followed by Arrabiata for main. Both were brilliant. It's a bit pricey but it's worth it. However don't have the cocktails, these were very poor, lacking any alcohol in my Pina Colada so it was just pineapple juice. Food: 5"

"yesterday we had the most amazing time with my friends baby shower that I helped organize with another friend. I couldn't recommend this place enough....from the beginning, it was really easy for us (I was completely unclear about party planning) gave us many possibilities and ideas. the personal was so attentive, we had provided gluten-free and vegan options, they helped us build up (big thanks josh for the balloon help eating was delicious and so much of it, the extensive coffee menu (in my opinion) is the best in the chest field and the attention to detail (edikatblooms in the mimosas, always our mother to a small card) was all just exceptional and enormously over. I can't wait to plan another party here! becki, emma and alice xx"
