very tasty eating in a pleasant atmosphere. they just feel comfortable here. the small menu convinces. absolutely recommended.

Wir waren zu dritt dort das volle Programm Vorspeise ,Hauptgang, Dessert mit den entsprechenden Getränken es war nur Spitze.Kompliment an Küche und Service weiter so.Wir waren bestimmt nicht zum letzten Mal da.

We had dinner here on a warm summer evening sitting on the porch. The food was really delicious, the staff attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere really nice and cozy. The restaurant may be a walk from the center of the city, but it is...worth every step. We had a really lovely night there. We would recommend making reservations well in advance to be sure.

Aus der französischen Kultur kommend, bin ich recht kritisch beim Essen. Beim Marcels hat alles gestimmt. Wir haben schön im Innenhof gesessen, super zuvorkommende Bedienung und das Essen war hervorragend!!!! Ich habe selten so lecker gegessen. Lecker gewürzt mit frischen Zutaten, selbst zubereiteten Soßen. Ich konnte mein Gericht nach meiner Wahl zusammenstellen. EIn Lob an das Küchenteam. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut.

We arrived without a reservation but the host managed to get a table for us on the well laid out terrace despite the restaurant seemed to be very popular and busy with the locals. Our waiter was very friendly, spoke excellent English and helped us...chose from a great variety of options on the menu. The food was really tasteful and nicely presented. The pepper sauce on the wiener-schnitzel was the best I ever had. The chef personally came and asked if we were enjoying the food. The prices were very reasonable so this place in our opinion offer fantastic value for money. The only negative would be that the restaurant does not accept credit cards which can be a bit awkward if you don't know be...

And I was glad I did. I was alone, so I went in and was seated in the outdoor section on a terrific evening. The menu was in German, with no English, so I has a difficult time with it. With the assistance of my...waitress, she helped me select a schnitzel dish with a pepper sauce. Instead of French fries, I asked about pan sautéed potatoes which were delivered along with vegetables cooked in a filo dough, which were really quite creative and very tasty. The schnitzel was good, although the meat could have been a bit more tender. Not so tough as to detract from an otherwise excellent meal.
