Massive portion of meat, lots of vegetable choice, roast and mashed potatoes and homemade yorkshire pudding. Had to take my cheesecake home with me because i was too full!

Cold food ..lots n lots of flies. Unhelpful waiter.. the place was dark rundown and the pate starter the salad looked like it had been pulled out of bin. 3 starters bottle 1 wine 37 pound ..terrible experience...will never return

My husband is unwell, so eating out is challenging for us. As a special treat, we decided to order takeout Sunday lunch today and it was fantastic. The meat and vegetables were cooked perfectly, the portions were very generous, and the food was delivered quickly and piping hot. It was definitely worth every penny!

I ordered from the happy hour menu, Thai fish cakes and lasagne. When the main course arrived the lasagne contained no meat. After I complained the lasagne was deducted from the bill but as it was a Happy Hour meal I don’t think I was compensated. The waiter gave a silly unacceptable reason why it didn’t contain meat. Felt unhappy and that they didn’t care. I will not return!!

Don 't believe the average Tripadvisor score. This Italian restaurant 's reviews go back over 13 years. The average for the last 12 months will be 2.4 when mine goes in. Long waits for both courses even though the place was barely 25% full. When the poor chicken diane arrived it was lukewarm, and they said the chips will be ready in a couple of minutes . When asked they did try to warm up the chicken, but failed, even though it went back into the kitchen for some time, by which time the chips had cooled down too. Despite the slow service and cold ambiance of the restaurant, the arrival of my shop-bought Tortellini was underwhelming. The atmosphere felt like the Grinch's Grotto, complete with tacky Christmas decorations and framed pictures from The Godfather. The restaurant seemed confused about its identity and failed to live up to expectations, especially with subpar pasta at a high price point. While my fishcake starter was decent, I can only give this restaurant a rating of 2 out of 5. Overall, I would recommend avoiding this restaurant due to its lackluster food and ambiance.

I have visited this restaurant twice this week, both times I’ve thought the food was lovely and great value for money when ordering off the specials menu. The first time we got the 2 course special, I got the chicken wings which had a nice flavour but I did think they were slightly underdone, they could of been crispier. The hot shot parmo made up for it tho, it was perfect. The second time I came with my son and we got both got the potato skins then I got bolegnase pizza and my son a seafood pasta, everything was lovely and we got loads so I asked the waitress to box up what we couldn’t eat to take home. The bill was only just over £20 which was a bargain for a huge 2 course meal and 2 coke...

Terrible experience! We should have checked the reviews before coming here. This place is so bad that it should be reported to the local authorities. It's not even Italian - they didn't even have mozzarella for a tomato mozzarella salad starter. The bruschetta had a strange and unpleasant taste that was unlike anything I've ever had at an Italian restaurant before. The lasagne was just a red mush with no detectable meat - I've had better microwave lasagne. The salads were tiny and consisted of mostly cabbage with mayo and breadcrumbs - not a proper salad at all. My friend's Chicken Diane was tasteless with a thick, gloopy gravy and the same poor salad.
