"Excellent restaurant in former pub. There is a pretty courtyard garden, and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. They serve authentic and delicious Greek food. Service is impeccable. I cannot begin to tell you how impressed I was by how they coped with my garlic allergy. They talked me through the menu, made special garlic-free food for me, thought proactively about related foods which might cause a problem for me, and gave me very reassurance throughout the meal, so I was able to relax completely and enjoy my food. A shining example of how to handle allergies. Brilliant!"

"A little bit run down in places but that seems to be Wookey Hole in general. Popped in for a cup of tea after some caving and the service was great. They weren't serving food at the time but as we had mentioned cake, they were very accommodating and happy to serve us something from the pudding menu. Good selection of old games to play while sitting there. (Probably for kids but we are big kids, and who doesn't love Connect 4)"

"From the moment i entered i was nicely welcomed and was told it was waiter service. I was shown upstairs, my drink order was taken and, when the drink arrived my food order (roast pork very nice) was taken. After about 10 minutes, the roast arrived and i took about 12 minutes to eat it. I then waited over 25 minutes for any further action: other people's orders were taken, no effort to take my dirty plate as the waiter [different from the original one]. After 30 minutes i had to stop the petite waiter and ask if i could have a dessert please; once my order was taken, normal service was resumed. This is a popular restaurant in the middle of Wells and yes, they serve excellent food but the service was slow that Sunday."

"Stunning over this gem to googling Indian restaurants near me, while my wife and I close to burcott mill. beautiful, modern and clean environment. they held their codified security discreet and waiter wore masks. but this has not distracted from the excellent service we received from the amazing professionalism of a friendly and attentive waiter named dave, who is an absolute legendary to provide a quick and friendly service from the kitchen and server. we had the Kings plate for beginners who was delicious and plentiful. it could have been a bit warmer, but we enjoyed it. the netzen were again good portions, they were perfectly heated and tasty served. the nan brote were great! cracked outside, but warm and fluffy in the middle. great service, great eating, beautiful decor and atmosphere."

"We have just had the most amazing short break staying at this gorgeous hotel. Our room was excellent with a separate bathroom which has a fantastic bath tub! The dinner we enjoyed in the restaurant was cooked and presented to a really high standard and the breakfast the following morning was just WOW. Freshly cooked, served on warm plates and the toast was hot. I don’t know how many times when we have stayed away that we have sent the cold toast back, but not here and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent customer service and all this made our very much needed break away truly memorable. Also just need to add the view of Wells Cathedral from the hotel and bedroom was an added gem Rooms: Our room had an amazing four poster bed and tub bath and walk in shower in the bathroom; lovely fluffy towels. Walkability: A stones throw away from the main shopping street, local market, Cathedral and other pubs and restaurants Food drinks: Great menu for evening meal and breakfast and cooked to perfection Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Luxury, Romantic, Quiet, Great value"
