"This was our first time visiting the restaurant on a Friday night. The menu was limited, our orders arrived in the wrong order, and the staff appeared bored and unsupervised. We were seated in a corner of a dreary bar, where our conversation was drowned out by the noise of the beer-drinkers. Despite coming all the way from Richmond based on a recommendation from friends (who had only been for lunch), we were underwhelmed by the experience. The price per person was £20-£30. The food was rated a 1, the service a 3, and the atmosphere a 1."

Good selection of ales in a small bar area, haven't eaten here but always seems busy. Thought it was a rugby pub but not showing RWC match when visited on Thursday. Atmosphere: 4

we enjoyed our visit very much, we had the Sunday roast, which was honestly the best we ever had! the lady who served us was so attentive and knowledgeable. highly recommended book in advance to avoid disappointment!
