"I recently went to Cin Cin for their bottomless brunch with friends for the second time, and once again it did not disappoint. The food was incredible, the drinks kept flowing, and the service was top-notch. The atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing afternoon. I highly recommend stopping by for a visit. Price per person is £30-40, and I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5."

"The Sicilian is a handy, family-run restaurant in the seaside town of Deal (Kent) offering delicious food, cheaper eats, from snacks to meals, and some of the best and reasonably priced wine in town. Located just off the High Street, the Restaurant is small (bijou), with additional seating outside for your morning coffee or one of their home-made ices. I dine here once a month, for lunch with friends. We usually each opt for the simple range of Panini to Antipasti Pasta and (collectively) a bottle of their local (Sicilian) wine. Time permitting (priorities) perhaps we’d start with a shared plate of ‘antipasto misto’, cured meats or cheeses, not to forget ‘pane e olive’, a trusted and fine accompaniment to the wine. I have always felt that the judge of a good restaurant is the soup, and have never been disappointed, but various pastas are on offer, the ‘Cannelloni Ricotta a Spinaci’ delighted my friend, the ‘Lasagne’ was among the best I have ever sampled. The baked aubergine with tomato and mozzarella ‘Parmigiana’ is another favourite. There is also a selection of pizza to suite many diverse tastes. Although we have often commented on the lovely deserts and pastries on display, we have yet to take the plunge, but ‘watch this space’ The service is friendly, we feel at home, loving the mix of authentic tastes. At the weekend The Sicilian offers evening dining, the ‘specials’ board giving an extended view of this cuisine from southern Italy."

"I don't even know where to begin with this restaurant. The food was terrible - way too much sugar in the curry! It seemed like minimal effort went into preparing all of the dishes. The service was mediocre, with the only saving grace being the female server. There was a large party of 20 people who had been there for over 3 hours, making the atmosphere unpleasant as the staff seemed overwhelmed. The restaurant is in desperate need of a renovation. It is not vegetarian-friendly and lacks variety in their menu options. Overall, it was a complete waste of money."

"Proper traditional and authentic Indian cuisine. I have been fond of indian spices for as long as I remember and have been eating all around the nation, wherever possible. I must admit that this restaurant served the closest touch of real and authentic Indian taste so far. I loved the ambience of the venue, well decorated, neatly arranged and friendly staffs. I don't seem to understand why some people have had bad experiences and reviews towards the establishment. Anyway, a Defo place to visit whilst around. Thanks to the whole team and will be back again for sure."

"The Pinot grigio was very light and fruity, and very delicious. The Starters were lovely, vert tasty, and different from other starters that are offered at most pubs. The mains were very disappointing, the liver was tough, and the fish pie had two prawns and three small pieces of fish, and the mass potato was instant potato and runny. Above our table was a speaker blaring out loud music, and I couldn't hear what my friend was saying. Price per person: £70–80 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 1"

"Visited this time last year after checking on their website that they did food. It said they did but when I got there they said they wasn’t doing food at that current time and they hadn’t got around to updating their website. Back in the area now and checked their website again. Looked like its had a revamp and said that it was open from 2pm and that they served food from 2:30pm. When I got there at 2:40pm it was shut and the sign outside said it wasn’t open until 4pm. So so frustrating. Can’t do the very basics of keeping their website up to date and keeping potential customers informed of when they are open and serving food. Pathetic."

"Only the fourth time I've eaten here over the years but the food never disappoints. The reason why I haven't eaten there more is because they're fully booked a lot of the time! Walkability: Right on Deal seafront a flat promenade across the road. Food drinks: Tasty food reasonably priced £108 for three three course meals Inc 2 bottles of wine. Noteworthy details: Lovely location, good food and good service. Service: 5"

"I stopped by for food but was informed that there were no available tables due to quiz night, even though the restaurant was empty. We decided to go down the road to the Zetland for drinks and then had a meal at the Rising Sun. As we walked back past the restaurant, it was still empty. It seems they may not welcome campers on quiz night. Our experience was disappointing, as we ended up spending our money elsewhere. They were not willing to accommodate us, even though we would have been happy to sit at the bar or in the tap room. The response we received from the staff seemed defensive and unwelcoming. Despite this, we had a great meal and drinks at another establishment nearby. It seems like the issue lies with their kitchen staff's inability to handle a few extra customers. Overall, we were not impressed with the service or atmosphere."

"Walked in to find a dog and nearly left. To keep us there the waiter said they 're going soon and he sat us some tables away. Barely started eating our meal and another dog arrived he seated them one table away. Two seconds later two women arrived with three more dogs again he sat them adjacent to us. We got up and left. Paying our bill we told the waiter we had mentioned our aversion to dogs in restaurants. With over three quarters of it empty we could only deduce he had no concern for us as customers. The owner was in the place but nowhere to be seen at that point so we told him to report back that we would not return. He was unmoved and we assumed our feedback would fall on deaf ears as the owner had already made a fuss of the first dog despite its owner commenting he really needs a bath , and, after eating his own lunch the owner promptly walked back into the kitchen without sanitising his hands!"
"This was an amazing place to stay. We were looked after so well, the food was cooked to perfection! We had booked for one night and upon arrival booked a second night. It is within easy reach of a lot of coastal towns, we will definitely be returning : Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 4 Hotel highlights: Quiet"

"We are local residents and have visited this restaurant several times. The food is fantastic and very interesting. The highlight is the unique dining experience, with a chef's taster menu featuring multiple small courses. You can choose a night when the menu matches your preferences, but the fun comes from trying new and unexpected dishes. The attentive service makes you feel well taken care of, similar to being at a top chef's dinner party. The prices are very reasonable considering the effort put into creating each menu. Treat yourself to a wonderful evening by choosing from the list of menus and finding a night that suits you."

"We just moved to the area and had a couple of nice evening meals so booked to bring my daughter who had just had a baby for lunch. The price was the same as the evening and the food was terrible, my daughter always has spaghetti Bolognese as she says its best in an Italian restaurant. She gave me a bit to taste and it seemed like it had been cooked several times before. The pesto pasta with pine nuts I had was tasteless and no nice toasted pine nuts on top, in fact I couldn’t see any at all, it was very disappointing after I had told my daughter and partner how good it was. They had made an effort with decorating the table and the people are lovely but I think I probably won’t go back."

"The last time I reviewed this restaurant was in 2016 and we have since eaten many meals here and frequently recommended it. However, today for the first time we were a disappointed. Maybe we chose the wrong items... My husband wanted the mackerel starter but unfortunately there wasn't any left so he was offered blanchbait instead, which he enjoyed. He followed up with calamari but found them rubbery and tasteless. I usually have the pork belly and crackling but today I fancied roast beef with all the trimmings, including a gluten-free Yorkshire pudding. The roast potatoes were crunchy and delicious and there was lots of gravy. But the beef, although a generous serving, did not meet the expectations I had, based on the lovely pork belly. Was it precooked and reheated? I don't know, but I know some restsurants do that. In my opinion the best gluten-free Yorkshires come from Sainsbury's. The one served here turned very hard within minutes of being put on my plate and I couldn't eat it. The vegetables, a good selection, were probably cooked to the satisfaction of a lot of customers (crunchy) but for me they could have done with a little longer. This is not the first time a roast dinner has disappointed me. I think I shall have to give up expecting them to be cooked the way they always used to be and order some thing else. We didn't have a dessert. Top marks for the staff though ; friendly, pleasant and helpful."

"I understand that the staff were doing their best, but considering we paid full price despite a shortage of staff, I have to give this restaurant a rating of 3. We were informed that the restaurant has changed ownership since our last visit, when we had a great meal. Unfortunately, this time the roast beef was tough and extremely rare. Our dog seemed to enjoy it though. The french beans were undercooked, far from being 'al dente'. We had to use our own tissues as there were no napkins on the table, and none were offered to us. The Lemon and Lime cheesecake I ordered was bland, so much so that I had my husband taste it to confirm. It was difficult to identify the topping. We were also surprised by the price of a pint of beer when we received the bill, as there were no drink prices displayed in the bar."

"Absolutely brilliant food and great value for money. The service was extremely friendly and I was very impressed with everything. The man who served me was very proud of his homemade curry sauce and so he should be; it was fantastic. We had two kids’ meals, campo and chips plus mushy peas, curry sauce and three drinks for £25 which i thought was a great price. I only have good things to say about this place and highly recommend."

Also has very creamy ice cream and super nice staff. What a super place to enjoy the sea air, be sure to visit this little gem."

"A very friendly welcome awaits you in this pleasant medium size café. Very good coffee here. Full English breakfast with everything you expect, very precisely cooked and well plated. Fine sausages and eggs beautifully done. Omelette with cheese, mushroom and bacon was superb. Omelettes are not easy to do well but the chef in Chaplains has the knack. We also enjoyed a toasted tea cake and jam, fresh butter and quality jam. We also had toast and marmalade. Great bread beautiful marmalade. Made to feel welcome on our first visit will be back here again and soon!"
