"The food is exactly what you’d expect. The price does seem to have crept up a bit lately. Has a little soft play area. Great. But be warned, the rules. Why the rules. You can have table service at one end of the restaurant, but you HAVE to order via the app at the soft play end (not even allowed to order at the bar). After struggling with the app (not a an app, web page, actually use an app is my advice). I decided we should get a table at the other end so someone can take my order. To be told I want allowed to move my plates. (There were three other tables occupied at this point). Shame really. Lovely venue. Lovely staff (if a little unsure what to do if you deviate from their plan) okay food. And most of it overshadowed by the rules! They’ve a captive audience and they know it. It’s getting lazy. Come on Haven. You can do better."

At best just okay if you are very hungry and nowhere else to go. Presentation none, taste none, value for money none, Hopefully things could improve if “restaurant” was not run by people who just get paid for turning up,

Ordered BBQ chicken nachos, it came looked like cat meat, cold and no bbq sauce on them and the cheese on nachos looked like dry pva glue, ordered a coke came in a chipped glass no apology just a new glass and that’s it terrible lunch Visualizza piatti

Told by the lady at the front to come back in half an hour for a walk in. Came back half an hour later after waiting outside to be told they're not taking walk ins. Told everyone else the same, everyone else was angry too. Don't bother.

The good: clean, good portions, friendly and efficient staff (special shout out to Justin), various meal deals, decent choice of food. The bad: it 's really hard to eat healthily here. Veg doesn 't come as standard and the £4 side was 90% frozen peas. Think it says it all when there are about 7 variant of fries and one listing of 'vegetables ' on the menu. A salad bar would be a great addition.

Came here a couple of years ago on our last Haven holiday and was very dubious about returning due to shocking service and terrible food but how things have changed!! We honestly were so glad we tried it again as between the new menu, new staff and bonus of 'Kids eat for £1 ' offer, it was absolutely amazing. Food was really delicious and plenty of choice and our waitress was so kind and helpful and great service even with it being quite busy. Kids also loved the soft play! Visualizza piatti

The restaurant was almost empty, but our waitress was running around while other staff were just standing around with their arms crossed doing nothing! Our order was taken incorrectly and I ended up with no food while most of our party had finished. There was loads of food unavailable and one of the desserts we ordered also didn't come out. The waitress just looked embarrassed and seemed to avoid us at all costs meaning we hung around waiting for our bill, which was wrong they tried to charge for an extra meal. The portions were tiny and too be honest we received better food at a better value from the local Wetherspoons.

We ate here a month ago and it was lovely so we booked to go back today for Sunday lunch. We all ordered the 2 roasts for £15. Unfortunately they were out of Yorkshire puddings so asked what we would like instead. We asked for extra pigs in blankets but they said they were out of them too so we ordered other items. The meals arrived so a couple of us started eating but then they said they’d made a mistake and cleared the plates away. They then served them to another table next to us, minus what we had eaten! That family couldn’t believe what was going on so complained and had the meals taken away. Our meals arrived without the extras they promised. I guess it’s just one of those hit or miss...

"An exceptionally unique dining experience! Our holiday companion booked Pamela’s for dinner and we were unsure of what to expect, however we were assured of good quality food and a great experience and we certainly were not disappointed. Upon arrival we were shown to a table in the lounge, provided with the menus and ordered drinks. Service is exceptionally professional and friendly from arrival to departure. The decor is most unique and very fun to take in. The upstairs dining room is more casual and I loved watching the chefs in the open kitchen. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. Our vegetarian diner was slightly limited for choice and there was a blip with the main course, however it was handled and recovered very well (we were unaware when booking, however we have now been advised to phone ahead a minimum of 24-hours and special meal arrangements can be made in advance for vegetarian meals). The fish cakes and miso Salmon were very delicious and cooked to perfection. The duck legs had crispy skin, moist meat and a tasty accompanying Orzo pasta. All in all I would thoroughly recommend Pamela’s for a delicious meal with 5* service. Vegetarian options: Recommended to advise the restaurant a minimum of 24-hours in advance. There were 2 starters and 1 main course (featuring pasta on all dishes) on the a la carte menu, however if you call in advance then arrangements can be made."

"I would love for this review to be a 5 but unfortunately, I am unable to do that. Upon booking the table over a week before our visit I was told that the table would be ours for the evening because we were a large group. We were asked to pay a £10 deposit per person this was absolutely fine and we all paid well in advance. The table was booked for a hen/birthday party so we were all looking forward to a nice meal before heading out for the rest of the night. Unfortunately though, this didn’t happen. I had originally booked the table for 7:30pm, however on the day of the booking it was obvious to us that getting there for that time was going to be a struggle so I rang the restaurant and ask if it was okay for us to arrive for 8pm instead. The woman on the phone said this was absolutely fine and actually thanked me for letting them know well in advance. We all arrived just after 8pm (11 of us in total and were seated quickly. This is where everything began to go downhill… it was at least 10 20 minutes before our drinks order was taken and then a further 20 minutes before the waitress took our food order. A couple of people in our party ordered 2 4 1 cocktails and after waiting a further 20 minutes after everyone else’s drinks arrived the waitress came to tell us that they were waiting for the ingredients as the cocktails were coming from the bar next door. So by this time it’s about 9pm and the cocktails still haven’t arrived. So we asked the waitress where the drinks were and shortly after the cocktails arrived We did complain about this and was told that because of the long wait, the price of the cocktails would be taken off of the bill. I don’t think this would’ve happened though if we hadn’t made a fuss about how long it took. That was just the start… Finally after around 75 minutes of waiting, our starters finally arrive which tasted lovely. We then waited a further 30 minutes before we had to ask where our mains were and the waitress went to check. It’s now 10pm and we’ve been in the restaurant 2 hours! The waitress comes back and says it’ll be another 10 minutes. We all then collectively decided that we were going to leave it as we’d already missed another reservation we had and we were on a Hen Do! We were meant to be having dinner and going on a night out we’d had enough! A few minutes later, the waitress comes out and tells us (conveniently our food was ready; But by this time we were fed up and had decided to leave. Shortly after we told the waitress, “sorry, no thank you, we’re fed up” the owner(? comes out from the kitchen and demands we stay to eat the food. We apologise and explain that we’ve been waiting over two hours and we have decided we want to leave and as we had previously explained to the waitress that we had other plans for the evening. The woman then starts shouting at us and accusing us of being over an hour late to our reservation and demands the waitress gets the order receipt to prove herself right! When we said that this doesn’t prove anything because the waitress took ages to even take our order and that I had called to tell them we wanted to move our reservation to 8pm, she then says that we hadn’t paid our deposit and we couldn’t leave! She then was just arguing with different members of our party until we all just got up and left. We wasn’t rude to anyone and we just wanted a nice meal that wasn’t going to take an entire evening to arrive. They knew it was a hen party and that we were planning to be out afterwards and they just took the mick. Throughout the two hours there, we were polite and respectful the restaurant was so deadly quiet I don’t think anyone wanted to disturb anyone. The atmosphere was completely dead and felt awkward. So we all left the restaurant, hungry, disappointed and annoyed at the treatment we had received. It ruined the beginning of a night we had planned for 9 months and it’s just not okay. To be honest, if they had apologised and treated us differently, we probably would’ve stayed and enjoyed the food. If the restaurant cannot handle large bookings, they shouldn’t accept them. The Lek Thai lost a lot of money that night."
