The Mayflower is a lovely takeaway I call in on my way back from Anglesey on a Sunday evening even though I live in Liverpool because it's clean the staff or friendly nice food this my opinion

Absolutely awful. Ordered special fried rice and chips. It was not fried rice it was boiled. Big gungy sticky balls of rice and tasteless. 2 thin pieces of chicken, 2 small pieces of pork. No slices of beef like it used to be, the beef was tiny diced pieces. The chips were oven chips too and old brittle chips mixed in. It was always a treat coming to this place but they are definitely cutting corners and the customer suffers. Wont be coming back Ever.

Nancy is super lovely, we moved to Wales three years ago and still love coming back to Wirral just to have a takeaway from the Mayflower! It’s a real treat, always fresh and delicious food and the biggest credit is to Nancy, she literally works non-stop but remembers everything about you! She even remembers that my favourite dish is prawn toast even though she probably has hundreds customers every day! Nancy can you please consider opening a restaurant in Wales too? Saves us driving to the Wirral

So good! It was my first time trying tonight, but won’t be my last. The food is so fresh and flavorful, and the customer service was the best. I ordered the chicken chow mein and the “triple crown” with egg fried rice. The chicken chow mein is rich and lovely, but still very light. Perfect egg fried rice, and the “triple crown” was such a welcome surprise. Definitely ginger-forward, and a beautiful blend of beef, duck, shrimp, veggies, pineapple, and more.
