Stopped for lunch outside overlooking the road and the river and had a brilliant lunch. A portion of goose liver paste between us to start, followed by suckling pig and salad. A delightful bottle of Ribera del Duero, then plenty of complimentary liqueur to follow. Excellent service, good food, good price what more could you want? And almost opposite the campsite!

There were quite a few people and we all ordered a menu that included grilled scallops, foie, grilled king prawns and cold meats. The scallops, the foie and the prawns were 10. It's been a while since I ate so well. Second I asked for lamb. It had a good flavor but was somewhat dry and it was not freshly made (perhaps because we went quite late) so it loses a lot. I had heard about this place for a long time, so I was expecting something remarkable. I was here during the village festivities, when the service may go down, but it was not particularly memorable. Service was on the careless side, undevoted. The lechazo was decent but did not blow my mind in any way, I have had fairly better. Starters were of mixed quality with a forgettable foi de oca (standing out for its poor quality), and some more interesting Zamburiñas and gambas (one can only guess, all frozen).
