"The manager at this restaurant is the rudest and most confrontational I have ever encountered. I would not recommend this place to anyone due to the manager's extremely unpleasant behavior. After leaving a review on another website about our negative experiences with their Saturday opening hours, we decided to give them another chance. However, when we arrived, the manager recognized us from a previous incident where they closed early, and proceeded to seat us, give us menus, and make sarcastic comments. He then rudely confronted us about our review, insinuating that it was our fault. I have never been spoken to in such a disrespectful manner, and this was the worst customer experience I have ever had. The manager's behavior created such a hostile atmosphere that we decided not to eat there, and he even mentioned that he was not going to serve us because of our review (which was solely about their opening hours, not the food or service). It appeared that all he wanted was an argument, and I am appalled by how he treats customers. I am very disappointed in the service we received."

disgusting, dismaying service. worst customer experience of my life. After leaving a negative review on another website regarding our bad experience with their Saturday opening times, we decided to give them another chance. Despite successfully dining there once before, on this occasion we were treated poorly. "Can not recommend enough !!!! Spent an evening at the dining room with some colleagues earlier this week and found the whole experience to be fab!! Excellent food, a great selection of wines and just the best service ever Chloe and Emma were fabulous and really went out of their way to ensure we had an amazing evening. "My friend and I wanted somewhere different to go for some late lunch and so we decided on the Cosy Club. Although my friend had been once before a while back, it was my very first time visiting. As you walk in, you're greeted with an almost vintage-y feel and it's great! Old paintings upon the wall and retro furniture too, but that's not all. Ascending the stairs to the top, we got to the first bit of the club which is the bar area and what a fab area it is too, to relax and enjoy and Beveridge or two. Further down is where the restaurant is located and a lovely restaurant it is too. Very ornate with a fancy oldy-worldy vibe, almost like stepping back in time. The decor and glass chandeliers make for a very luxurious, almost palatial feel. The staff were really friendly and showed us to a table where after a short time of waiting, we had water poured for us before choosing what we'd like to eat and drink. I decided to go for the dirty chicken burger and I'm glad I did. The portion size was great, and there was plenty going on in the burger; the flavours were tantalising! Everything was cooked really well and tasted good (oh and the berry cider they have is certainly worth a try! After spending time enjoying our meal, we paid for the bill and were able to make our way, with our drinks, to the bar area to take a sit and enjoy the vibe further. I would certainly recommend the Cosy Club to anyone looking for something different, with a cool vibe and great food. Thank you to the staff for a pleasant and enjoyable visit, will certainly be returning! :"

"Table had crumbs on not wiped down from previous customer. Ordered baguette with bacon chicken and brie. Chicken over cooked and dry as was bacon. Hardly any brie. Baguette very hard. No butter. Couldn't even eat the bread. Salad ok if you like limp lettuce. Coleslaw was actually nice. Chips tasted like they were cooked in old oil. Menu sounds fancy but sadly didn't live up to expectations."

"Me and my friends all come here ever wednesday after school for a study session and a chit chat and grab a coffee! The atmosphere here is something so peaceful and comfortable with its great lighting, music and decorations really make it a special vibe. It’s very hygienic there’s not a spot of dirt insights- bathrooms are always clean. Aswell as it’s state of cleanliness, the smell is really nice with its light up candles. The staff are so sweet and polite and are amazing at their jobs at making us feel welcome! Aswell as that the food and drinks here on the menu are so good and are always top notch- always nice and fresh! I rate it 5/5 because i’ve been to other places before, that have never had such a good quality food and had a great experience! I come here because it’s a comfort place for me and my friends and we never doubt our choices coming here because it’s so great- one of the best places in Derby."

"I and my partner visited and we had the sweetpatty and trini double for the start, both so delicious and full of taste. for the first we had the organic ruck tofu that was unreal, quite spicy, but very beautiful. in portions are generous. there are two for a cocktails, but they were not the best and service was not very fast, but the dame that served us was really friendly."
