"J'apprécie la cuisine japonaise, je l'ai gouté dans plusieurs pays et j'ai connu le moment il y a 15 ans où tous les restaurateurs asiatiques se sont transformés en Japonais en un clin d'oeil. On les reconnait encore ...Ici, il ne s'agit pas de cela. C'est un petit restaurant artisanal à la déco simple et pas kitchos, j'ai trouvé que par rapport aux 'usines' à sushis et sashimis de base, que l'on trouve bien à Tours d'ailleurs, celui ci se distingue. Chaque plat a sa petite touche.Nous avons attendu un peu mais pas trop et nous avons été prévenus avant.J'étais avec un ado qui aime bien la cuisine asiatique et il s'est délecté des brochettes bœuf-fromage, j'ai pris un petit plateau de sashimis qui m'a plu mais il y avait des tempuras et plein d'autres spécialités japonaises. Je n'en avais pas envie mais je testerai la prochaine fois. J'ai pris une glace thé vert-sésame noir. Pas mal d'habitués apparemment, venaient chercher des plats à emporter, d'où la légère attente. La serveuse gérait cela très bien et toujours avec un vrai sourire.Certes, ce n'est pas la qualité japonaise de certains restos de la rue Ste Anne à Paris mais sushi time pourrait s'en approcher. Le potentiel est là.Du coup je suis reparti avec du saké .. Nous on a bien aimé et on reviendra !!"

"We had a lovely meal with our children and their friends this evening. My two children have severe allergies and the chef explained very clearly (in perfect English) what they could have. She was very helpful and accommodating. The food was excellent and the portions generous. We wish we had room left for the amazing cheese board but we were all stuffed! The wines on offer were well selected and good value. This is a relaxed bistro with friendly service. Thoroughly recommended."

"I don't know where to start. From A to Z, it was irreproachable. Let's start with the service, very pleasant, in a relaxed atmosphere with very friendly servers. At the aperitif, a gin that passes the cream with the choice of gin and tonic. Then, crazy entries, a special mention for the mini burger with its sublime pear/tonka compote that I could have eaten on a toast to the aperitif, in entry, accompaniment with my pintade, in condiment with my cheese, dessert and mignardise with my coffee. For the dish a very good package of pinetade served with fantastic juice. All this followed by an assortment of 6 sumptuous cheeses including a Pont l’évêque des plus amazing. Finally, desserts are not too soft to finish gently. Thanks to the whole team of Casse Cailloux, from the diver (which we forget too often) to the managers for this great meal, don't change anything!"

"Forgot to review this place last summer when I was there, but since I found my check in on Facebook, I wanted to mention it. I’ll be going back to Tours this summer, and I will definitely eat here again. I went there twice, and...had a noodle dish each time. Both times they were exquisitely prepared, hot and fresh. It’s a fun place with a young, hip crowd, and although I didn’t really fit in, the casual seating allows you to meet people easily. By all means give it a try."
