"Today, I took my Dad to his favorite local restaurant for his birthday. He enjoyed the fish and chips, but unfortunately, my son and I opted for the new dish on the menu, Prawn Linguine. I must say, it was the worst meal I have ever had at the Three Legged. When I mentioned this to the waitress, she informed me that they have received other complaints, but the menu is controlled by headquarters. I found this confusing, as I believe any chef should taste the food before it leaves the kitchen. The waitress mentioned they are trying to remove the dish from the menu, but that didn't help us on this particular visit, which was disappointing. As a gesture of goodwill, the waitress took our coffees and dessert off the bill. Personally, I believe our main courses should have also been comped, but I didn't want to cause a scene and upset my Dad. Despite this disappointing experience, I will give the Three Legged another chance, as I know this is not their usual standard. I felt it was important to share my feedback in this review."

"I absolutely agree with Kelly who posted a review earlier the same happened to us we walked in and five or six young members of staff stood looking at us , felt like we shouldn’t be there , no one spoke ,to us no good morning , can I help you ,we have r been before and didn’t know anything , had to ask can we order something , when I asked if they could pop the sausage rolls in a micro for a few seconds I got a um um yes we ordered and payed and sat down ,the service very slow no customer chat , we ate our food which was very nice ,but we didn’t get the tea,after a while I asked a girl if our t was coming she said yes I will get it ,10 mins later asked a different girl who said it was coming ,then eventually the tea appeared, we finished out tea and left , to be stopped at the door and told you havnt paid for your tea ,so I said I paid the amount you asked for , she said you didn’t order tea , I told her I had ,we wouldn’t have food without a drink ,she said well I didn’t hear you and can u pay ,which of course I did ,usually these little farms and cafes are very friendly , think you need a supervisor to Organise the running and service of the cafe"

"We ate here to celebrate our sons exam results. It was our second visit, the first one having been good. I ordered the Albion Burger which looked good when it came out. After I started eating it I noticed it was practically raw in the middle so told the waitress and sent it back. These things happen so I just waited for a replacement. About 5 minutes later the waitress brought the burger back out and I was literally shocked to be told that the chef had put the burger back in the fryer for a few minutes. I was given the burger back with the same cheese, bacon and roll but this time it was dripping in fat. I was so shocked, firstly that the chef put a burger that had been in my mouth back in the fryer with other peoples meals but also that I wasn’t given a fresh burger. What I would say is that the waitress dealing with us was lovely, she did everything she could to resolve it and removed the cost from the bill. So for that reason I will be leaving one star. I am not won to complain but I really wasn't happy."

"This place is absolutely appalling. I ordered a takeaway online, and while my order was accepted and payment was taken, they later canceled it without issuing a refund! When I called to request my money back, the man on the phone refused. He even suggested I pay extra for delivery, despite their website clearly stating that they deliver to Ringwood. He insisted it was too far, contrary to what their site indicates. They offered to prepare my order for pickup but wanted to charge me again without refunding my initial payment! During the conversation, he eventually admitted that they had canceled my order because they didn't have a delivery driver available that night. Yet, he still refused to process a refund and told me I would have to wait 3-5 business days for it. This place is truly disgraceful."

"Moved into the area recently and was recommended this place to try locally as the only Italian within a long distance. Rang up for a booking a couple of days before and was completely full but they managed to squeeze us onto the terrace which was good of them and it was a nice day outside. Service was good, nice waiting staff and were chatty with us throughout. They have ravioli on the menu so were going to order but just wanted to check it was homemade. Waitress said it wasn 't, they used to but don 't anymore and these are bought in frozen. We decided to order a carbonara instead as its a good benchmark of how any Italian will be and how authentic the cooking also. Unfortunately it was not authentic, it was extremely creamy and flavourless, most definitely had cream added to the sauce and was disappointing. For main I had the fillet steak and fries and it was not great. Hadn 't had a chance to rest and was leaking all over the plate and just wasn 't a great piece of mate, had a grey look to it and I would suggest it had been frozen at some point which showed in the taste. For the price I 'd have hoped for better. My wife had a pizza which was cooked pretty well and seemed freshly made dough and done pretty well in the pizza oven, if we come back we will only go for the pizzas next time. We tried a desert as was assured they 're homemade so went for the tiramisu which was really nice. Would probably return if at a push but my tip is you can make most of the pasta better yourself at home so only go for the pizza and desert."
