Excellent service, staff were very helpful and friendly, although the menu is not as extensive as it used to be it it is still great value for money.

Called again at the cafe today last time was 2016 ! Still running the cafe with low staff members looks like Morrison’s put profits before staff and customers service we had rush to go back to the Winsford store/cafe .

I ordered a bacon barm and tea on the self pay machine. I sat down and a few minutes later, a staff member walking quickly past, practically threw my food on the table without saying a word. She just continued walking. Five minutes later I got up to ask where my tea was and was told it was self service. That's fine, but no one had bothered to tell me.

We went in for a quick lunch and ended up getting an afternoon tea for two. It was excellent value with generous portion sizes, so we had leftovers to take home. The staff was friendly and there were screens between tables for a more comfortable dining experience without masks. It was surprising to find that this supermarket restaurant could rival bigger chain restaurants at more affordable prices.

For two consecutive days, I have been kept on hold for over 40 minutes only to be informed that there is a delivery issue and they are unable to take orders. This is a string of lies. They have plenty of food in stock and yet they choose to deceive their customers. As a result, I am now without a planned afternoon tea for Mother's Day. The one time I did manage to speak to someone after being on hold for nearly an hour, the staff member was extremely indifferent. It is clear that they do not value my business, and they will not be receiving it again. I would give them 0 stars.

The restaurant has made significant improvements in the past few years. It was well-maintained in the past but had declined in quality. However, in recent months there have been noticeable improvements in meal preparation, staff friendliness, and layout. I recently had a late breakfast there and found it to be well-cooked, with clean cutlery wrapped in a napkin and good quality food. I would rate it as Good, but unfortunately TripAdvisor only allows for ratings of Average or Very Good, with no in-between option. Overall, the restaurant has definitely improved, but it is not as good as it used to be.

When we arrived the cafe was quiet and we tried to place a table order, however this didn’t work, so we went to the counter to place the order. A woman came shouting out of the cooking area to say orders could be placed at the table, as the man taking orders at the till also had to deliver food orders to tables. She was really quite rude and we felt like we were in the way wanting food. She also wanted to make sure he was telling everyone that food would be 20 minutes plus!! The young man taking orders was lovely but the rest of the staff were rude and made us feel like we were in their way! Never again we will visit Morrisons cafe winsford

The order screen was switched off, with no explanation. A notice said to find and reserve a table before ordering; however, there were no reserved signs to place on a table, so I left a newspaper on table 15. I ordered and paid at the till; a small breakfast with an extra egg, and a Tropicana juice; the staff member was unsmiling. The meal was delivered in 12 minutes on a very small plate, by a waitess who called out Breakfast as the meal was delivered. I had to collect cutlery from a central area, when I could find it; the condiments were also there , but no mustard. The food was satisfactory.
