Mouffetard Saigon's

Best vietnamese experience in the most scenic part of the Latin Quarter, close to place de la Contrescarpe. The four of us really enjoyed food and service for this memorable dinner.

Service impeccable. Patron avenant et prévenant. Cuisine excellente. Classiques vietnamiens délicieux ! Rouleaux de printemps, brochettes de bœuf. Petite sauce légère et parfumée. Tout était parfait

Literally this place is AMAZING. Such a hidden gem which I feel deserves much more appreciation. Some of the best food I have EVER tasted and lovely lovely service.A word of warning though, one course is most definitely enough! Very very large portions! Loved it here can't think of one fault.

Found this place was just up the road from where we were staying, and needed a quick fix from an Asian style restaurant, but didn't want one of these crazy rowdy places, so this spot fit the bill perfectly! It's steadily getting more popular, which is not surprising given the excellent fresh food available at a very reasonable price right in the middle of the bar and club action of Mouffetard. I expect it to get unbearably crowded soon!

Tried to find some Vietnamese food to change it up after a long 2 weeks trip, couldn't get to the restaurant we wanted so wandering around the Latin Quarter and came across this place. Small and quaint, ran by 2 Vietnamese sisters only. And I am blown away by the selections and their quality. We ordered:- Bo Bun- Bo cuon- Pork in honey: best used with white rice to balance the tasteAll were very good, the pork was a bit salty for my taste but could be a personal issue. We were wandering around the area for quite a while looking for a restaurant that was not too expensive but offered food bursting with flavour. We were lucky enough to stumble upon Mouffetard Saigon's. The food was truly delicious and there was so much choice! I had a duck dish while my friend opted for chicken. We both finished entirely and were full for the rest of the evening.The service was excellent. Efficient, very friendly and our waiter seemed to speak multiple languages fluently - going from one to another with different customers with ease.I would definitely recommend this place.

The Mouffetard district behind the Pantheon presents a treasure trove of ethnic and especially Asian restaurants, for those tired of the endless brasserie fare that makes up so much of Parisian "cuisine." Saigon's (not sure what that possessive signifies) is a sure bet for discriminating palettes, offering authentic Vietnamese fare prepared with real care and attention to detail. The shrimp and pork spring rolls are exceptional: crisp and super-fresh; while the seafood hot pot in yellow curry provides a lasting richness of flavor without too much undue heat. Service can be on the slow side, with a trifle too much time between courses, and the tiny dining room doesn't offer much personal spac...

I try to go to Paris as often as possible, which is probably more than most people but never enough for, well, my tastes--and whenever I make the trip, I try to visit all my old familiar and favorite places--the Winged Victory of Samothrace at the Louvre...Sunday morning service at the Sacre-Coeur...a walk down the Champs-Elysees from the Arch of Triumph to the Concorde (because it's so much easier than doing the reverse!)...and a visit to Mouffetard Saigon's on the rue du Cardinal Lemoine in the 5th.
