Mr Chans - Piatti

Been here a couple of times in my lifetime which are 2 times too many. How they stay open beggars belief. Absolute rubbish.

First and last time to Mr Chan’s, food ok not the best. Place dated, smells and staff didn’t really knew what they was doing. Also a tray of dirty plates and bowls where put next to us as we ate our meal. Not good

Me and my husband absolutely love Chans, we really enjoy the food and the staff are always so friendly. When the restaurant is busy it can be a wait for the food but it’s always worth the wait. We will certainly continue to go there for an evening out. Visualizza piatti

We love this place and come here often, would recommend to anyone. It is great for my partner who is vegan, there are plenty of options. The staff are super nice and service is fast. I love the kung pao chicken but you honestly can't go wrong whatever you pick! Will be back soon.

This place has been around for ever but great food nice pleasant service , good value for money .The decor hasnt changed since the 70s but gives it a unique chinese experience . Sadly not many good chineses around but the food is well cooked and typical , definately worth a visit.

It’s a year since we last went to mr chans and seems to have gone down a bit since then... always seemed quite reliable but a recent meal took 30 mins for drinks to come and nearly 1hr 30 for food and then 2 waiters didn’t know what the dishes they had brought out were!! Me, my wife and my close friends dined here many, many times. It was always a good place to meet and eat. We always enjoyed our visits. The food is usually good, the service is usually good and overall, it was always reasonably good value for money. I used the Take Away service recently and it was good food and reasonbly good value for money.

Pleasant Staff, the rest was beyond bad. Service so slow it was unimaginable, when some of the food arrived it had no taste what so ever, rubbery chicken served in cold fatty water. Just had to leave. We where hoping for a nice family dinner. Gutted ! We went to pay for drinks and to their credit staff would not take any money, I got the district impression I was not the first . On a Saturday evening, we should have been asking ourselves why the place was virtually empty. Just don 't.

We found this restaurant from a directory. Up on the first floor over a parade of shops, it is easy to miss. A large first floor restaurant (100+ covers? with a cheap public car park opposite, it is reached only by stairs with no lift. Nevertheless, several other diners were using sticks and crutches and struggled with the stairs, and the place was nearly full. We were warned in advance that food service would be slow due to volume. It was very slow, but the staff were very professional and the food excellent. When we left, having taken over 3 hours to get and eat our banquet , it was still busy but other local establishments had closed. It suggests this was the best place around! We could n...
