We reached Mud while exploring the area as we were initially thinking of moving here.

The restaurant has a welcoming staff and a tasty brunch menu. I appreciate that they are accommodating when I request no butter on my toast or eggs cooked in oil instead of butter. They are always kind about my special requests. My favorite dish is the smashed avocado toast with a side of mochas, which are absolutely delicious!

This café is fantastic, bringing big coffee to Tooting at last. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is perfect for a lazy Sunday brunch or a weekday coffee with friends. The owners are friendly and enthusiastic, showing a genuine care for the quality of their offerings without being pretentious. It has a hip and beachy vibe, reminiscent of a Melbourne café, but without the pretentiousness. I highly recommend it!

this self-titled antipodean café serves delicious brunch-time dishes next to perfectly brewed coffee all day. a wonderful addition to the tooting high street. a friendly, relaxed caffe that we would always go back! the interieur is very rustic look gave a beautiful inviting mood, the art where you could imagine staying for hours (if we had only such a time we are vacuumers for exposed bricks and wood furniture, so mud caffe just felt right! Beats all the other brunch places around this part of London! Very good, friendly service and fresh ingredients. Interior is very woody, rustic, natural with lots of light. We ordered an avocado on toast and the pancakes with coffee and a green smoothie. They had a good selection of drinks. Avocado on toast was very fresh with salad on top. Pancakes had great consistency and good toppings. Smoothie was good too. Came in a cute hipster glass. Very good value for money. An absolute hidden gem. I recommend stopping here for brunch!

I was initially hesitant about dining at this restaurant because the online menu didn't offer many vegetarian options, but I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. The menu was more diverse than I expected, and they even offered delicious fresh fruit juices. The breakfast I ordered was fantastic, it was honestly the best breakfast I've had in Tooting. They use fresh, locally sourced ingredients which really stood out in the taste. I'm not usually a fan of Hollandaise sauce, but theirs was light and fluffy, made with fresh cream.
