"Imbisse gibt es wie Sand am Meer, das Angebot ist austauschbar: Pommes, Currywurst, je nach Herkunft der Betreiber Schaschlik, Schnitzel, Kebab, Döner, Gyros. Warum also über die Olive in Viersen schreiben? Auf den ersten Blick tatsächlich eine Imbissbude wie jede andere. Das ändert sich aber, sobald man das Lokal betritt. Ein schlichter, aber gemütlicher Raum mit drei, vier Tischen zum Vor-Ort-Essen, dahinter etwas abgetrennt die Verkaufstheke mit Küche. Hier waltet der Inhaber mitsamt Personal, und das auf eine selten erlebte, außergewöhnlich freundliche Weise. Das Angebot bietet sämtliche griechischen Klassiker von Gyros über Bifteki bis Saganaki, aber auch Schnitzel, Pizza und Currywurst sowie die in dieser Gegend leider unvermeidlichen holländischen "Spezialitäten" wie Fleischrolle oder Kipcorn. Das wäre nun ebenfalls nichts Besonderes, wenn man die Qualität der Speisen außer Acht ließe. Die ist nämlich hervorragend. Kein Zadderfleisch auf dem Gyrosgrill, sondern beste Qualität, auch bei den anderen Sorten wie z.B. Lamm. Auf den Punkt korrekt gegrillt. Beilagen und Salate ebenso frisch und lecker. Selbst die Pommes sind über dem Pommesbudenniveau, während die Preise absolut durchschnittlich sind. Fazit: Immer einen Besuch für den schnellen oder auch größeren Hunger wert."

"Wieder konnte ich es nicht lassen.Rein in das Grillrestaurant Meyer in Süchteln.Das ist kein Pommesbude , dass ist eine Pommesbudeschlosshotel.Schnelle prompte Bedienung an der Theke und das Essen kam zügig.Fleischrolle spezial mit Pommes rot weiß und krautsalat1/2. Hähnchen mit gemischtem SalatSchaschlik mit Pommes und spitzkohlsalat Alle drei Gerichte super lecker....der Spitzkohlsalat unerreicht.Freundliche Bedienung die trotz des großen Andrangs weder die Ruhe verloren noch ihre Höflichkeit.Seit 45 Jahren mein Hit."

"On a recent trip from the USA to Viersen Germany, for medical treatments, my family had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Zur eisernen Hand. The owners Anja and Stephan went out of there way to meet our needs and make us more than comfortable!! Not only did they cook and bake foods for our special diets but they emailed us several times prior to our stay to make sure they had everything we would need such as "real cream" for our morning coffee which they brought to our rooms. The rooms were simple but very clean and comfortable... the food at their family owned restaurant was home made, mostly organic and incredible!!! We were able to relax with coffee, desert or a glass of wine in the quiet "back yard" or play a game of German bowling located in the rear of the building. They called for taxis when needed and the day we left we were gifted with a jar of Anja's homemade jam and a very sincere hug plus good wishes for our health and recovery. If we ever find the need to visit Viersen in the future there is no doubt that we will stay at the Hotel Zur eisernen Hand."

"My husband and I were eating there last Saturday. It was amazing. The lamb fillet was really one of the best I've ever eaten. The boss personally comes to the table, which is very important to me personally. Nice family atmosphere. Always happy again!"

"cozy with friends and complained sitting together and eating something delicious from the pet menu of the linden host. thus the locality is described as meeting. in summer with a small beer garden with own flair. from us also special (seasonal) dishes next to the map. friendly service. you should book at the weekend."
