"We moved to Germany two years ago and we have been craving for Indian food since then. We are very happy we've found this amazing restaurant. From the moment we called to make the reservation until we asked for the bill, everything was extraordinary. The...food amazingly delicious from flavors to presentation and the service very attentive and gracious. The gentleman that greeted us when we arrived was very polite during the whole service as well as the two servers. We definitely recommend this restaurant and will gladly come back again. They have been doing business for thirty years and you can really tell they know their business! :"

We were lucky enough by a vegan employee who was super helpful and advised us what could be made vegan. Offer extra Chutney and suggested vegan Roti bread. The food was good, some oily, but delicious.

A small restaurant with a good selection of Indian dishes. Unfortunately, there is only one section with vegetarian food, and as a vegan you need to be careful not to catch a dish with yogurt or butter.

the place is intimately clean and cozy but looks a bit old-fashioned. the first cursalat was bad, then the middle cure was simply ok and the main course was better, it looked very colorful and the sosse was really good and spicy while. the bark was not tender enough

visited this beautiful Indian restaurant on our way to the Oktoberfest. we had a wonderful thali meal at this cozy little place with an excellent service by the staff. it is a very authentic Indian cuisine in the Black Forest region. would recommend it...if they are looking for a good authentic Indian cuisine.

I had a very rude welcome at this restaurant when I asked whether I could sit on one of the many vacant tables outside I was simply told no ...with no further explanation from the manager man. Perhaps it was a lost in translation moment, but it felt quite rude. Luckily the food was tasty, if not slightly over priced for what it is.

We frequent Indian restaurants in various countries and Namaskaar is one of the best! So fresh! The son, now owner and operator, served us for dinner as he was fluent in English. He was very attentive and engaging in conversation. Such wonderful people! The food...was so delightful as it was freshly made. We will definitely visit again!

My husband and I were walking by and decided to try dinner here without doing any research first and so glad we did! Everything was excellent, but the service was top-notch! I didn't catch the waiter's name, but he was fantastic with recommendations and so...friendly! The food was filling! I definitely recommend the Menu option as it comes with a starter, mix of two dishes, and a dessert at good price! Everything tasted wonderful! Thank you Namaskaar for a wonderful night!

we could really be picky, so we decided for 3 stars. service was very good, fast and friendly. the food was average. we had saag panner with authentic Indian cheese, but very little spinat for a spinat bowl) and the huh kali murgh. Both...Tishes had a little petersilie that is unusual in Indian food in our experience) and the sauces tasted and looked similar. the Naan-Brot was ok, but they only have simple naan on the menu. I guess the location is good, but the terrace has only 3 exterior tables.

"Excellent food, let down by interesting levels of service. Firstly, we rang ahead, as we were on the highway and would arrive in around 45 minutes, so wanted to secure a table. We were told they were fully booked, so we asked to reserve a...little later, again, fully booked the whole day! My wife said let's try it anyway, as it has a lot of good reviews, so we arrived to find dozens of empty tables very strange and potentially costly for the management. We were seated quickly and were immediately served bread and oil, which was very good quality. Our order was taken and the drinks were delivered. Unfortunately, it started to rain hard and you could see the staff running around to collect cushions, glasses etc. from the pre-set tables. This is partially understandable (though if you don't have protection against the weather, perhaps you set the tables as the diners arrive) leaving us waiting for 1 hour without food. I raised this with a nice guy (possibly Raffaele) who appologised and sought to fix the problem. Shortly afterwards our food arrived. It was pretty good in quality, taste and value for money, and we were compensated with a free dessert due to the long waiting time. I think this could be a stand-out restaurant in Baden-Baden with a little more thought to staff training/attitude and the general running of the place. Hopefully your experience will be 5 stars and we were just unlucky."
