"I write this review with years of fond memories of this place. The owner Valero has always treated my family and friends as his family. I visited this restaurant (for over 5 years 1987-1991) several times a week and there were weeks when I ate there everyday. From 1991 thru 1995 I was about 2 hours drive from Goppingen but whenever I was in the area this was my place to eat. Yes, it is THAT GOOD!!I have tried everything on the menu and have other typical German food but here are my highlights of the menu: Their salads are fresh with a light iol vinegar and spices dressing, very refreshing on a hot day. Their Pizza is the best I've ever had and since then, nothing ever compares. Even when I visited the city of Venice, never found a Pizza so good. They make their own sauce - not from a can. Their pasta? The presentation is very appetizing and when you taste it, again that home-made sauce jumps at you. Tortellini, Rigatoni, Spaghetti all is good. Their Cappuccino is on the spot. Great ambiance and Valero, who at the same time is the only server, while his brother takes care of the drinks always makes his rounds and chats with the customers. I last visited Germany in Sept and enjoyed Lunch and Dinner. The flavors were as what I remembered and the quality of food as good if not better. I was a pleasant trip down memory lane to chat with Valero and his brother one more time. So, try the Pizza, try the Pasta, a Small Green Salad and close it with either a Cappuccino or a Brandy. You will feel like you are in heaven. The Price is very reasonable compared to other places around town and for the amount of food and Quality you get more than your moneys' worth."

"Das Essen ist hier echt der Hammer ! Ich habe noch nie so leckere Sushis gegessen, obwohl ich als Essensliebhaber schon in vielen Sushirestaurants unterwegs war. Seit dem der neue Besitzer im Juli dazugekommen ist, wurde alles um paar Größenordnungen besser. Ich habe zuerst das Restaurant der selben Kette in Kirchheim unter Teck probiert, und irgendwann auch hier vor Ort. Die Qualität ist in beiden Fällen vom allerfeinsten. Darüber hinaus sind noch paar weitere Punkte von Bedeutung:Ambiente: etwas dunkel für meine Verhältnisse, aber sicherlich empfinden das manche als romantisch, oder genügend.Bedienung: sehr freundlich, ich fühlte mich da sehr wohl.Wartezeit: teilweise etwas lang wenn viele Gäste da sind. Aber ich find sie ist noch auszuhalten.Preise: für ein so leckere Sushis sind die Preise einfach viel zu günstig. Es ist echt der Wahnsinn.Essen: Super lecker, am besten fragt man die Bedienung was sie empfehlen kann. Es ist sicherlich nicht schlecht wenn man sich mit den japanischen Begriffen nicht auskennt.Zusammengefasst find ich Sushi-Samurai absolut genial. Egal in Göppingen oder in Kirchheim unter Teck, wir gehen da fast alle 2 wochen hin, oder bestellen wenigstens etwas zum Mitnehmen, es gibt so tolle Sachen zum Ausprobieren. Absolut empfehlenswert !!"

"Hm, irgendwie werde ich das Gefühl nicht los, dass das Gesamtpaket irgendwie nachgelassen hat.Das Essen war lecker, angefangen von der Tagessuppe bis hin zum Hauptgericht. Perfekter Biss, perfekte Schärfe. Aber so das Drumherum war irgendwie bissle lieblos. Lieblos der Empfang, lieblos die Aufnahme der Bestellung, lieblos angerichtet. etc. Also beim Thai erwarte ich einfach, dass die Klischees erfüllt werden: lächelnd von vorn bis hinten. Kann daran gelegen haben, dass die Chefin nicht anwesend war. Und die Toiletten sehr sauber, aber unglaublich kalt, es war wie in der Gefriertruhe. Geht gar nicht. Sehr schlecht. Das Restaurant hat ein unglaubliches Potenzial, ist den Eigentümern vermutlich nicht bewusst, oder ganz einfach egal, und gut genug, so wie es ist! Will aber keinem was Böses unterstellen.Dennoch empfehlenswert, das Essen ist Klasse."

"we had reserved thanks to the fact that the economy was already full. we found cozy place in the bright winter garden. the service was very friendly and attentive, the hosthaus tiptop clean and eating out of the selection very diverse, as well as visual and qualitatiw all first quality. there are both alcohol-free drinks, and other beer and excellent wine, as well as very good coffee. we felt very comfortable here. only the contemporary entanglements were little tuned to the Bavarian inn atmosphere and first thought that the music could come from a gym about where there was power workout. we are happy to come back!"

"Haben aufgrund eines Tipps vergangenes Wochenende gegessen. Zur Mittagszeit sollte man auf alle Fälle reservieren, da die Plätze doch sehr begrenzt sind. Die Bedienung ist sehr lustig, freundlich aufgelegt und immer für einen lockere. Spruch bereit. Mir gefällt sowas das lockert es alles etwas auf und man hat auch was zum Lachen.Die Speisekarte bietet eine größere Auswahl an Speisen an wobei es sich hauptsächlich um schwäbische Gerichte handelt. Was ich positiv finde es werden zu den normalen Portionen auch "mittlere" und "kleine" Portionen zu entsprechende Preisen angeboten.Für uns gab es vorab eine frische Pilzsuppe welche auch wirklich frisch war.Auch der Salat war frisch zubereitet und für mich geschmacklich besser als der typische vorspeisensalat.Als Hauptgang gab es Hirschgulasch mit Spätzle und Tafelspitz. Das Gulasch war perfekt zubereitet das Fleisch war ebenso frisch und nicht aus der TK. Bei den Spätzle schmeckte man sofort das sie frisch selbst gemacht waren. Der Tafelspitz schmeckte auch mir, obwohl das eigentlich nicht mein Gericht ist.Fazit: Super Restaurant mit sehr leckeren Essen und preislich absolut in Ordnung!"
