"I write this review with years of fond memories of this place. The owner Valero has always treated my family and friends as his family. I visited this restaurant (for over 5 years 1987-1991) several times a week and there were weeks when I ate there everyday. From 1991 thru 1995 I was about 2 hours drive from Goppingen but whenever I was in the area this was my place to eat. Yes, it is THAT GOOD!!I have tried everything on the menu and have other typical German food but here are my highlights of the menu: Their salads are fresh with a light iol vinegar and spices dressing, very refreshing on a hot day. Their Pizza is the best I've ever had and since then, nothing ever compares. Even when I visited the city of Venice, never found a Pizza so good. They make their own sauce - not from a can. Their pasta? The presentation is very appetizing and when you taste it, again that home-made sauce jumps at you. Tortellini, Rigatoni, Spaghetti all is good. Their Cappuccino is on the spot. Great ambiance and Valero, who at the same time is the only server, while his brother takes care of the drinks always makes his rounds and chats with the customers. I last visited Germany in Sept and enjoyed Lunch and Dinner. The flavors were as what I remembered and the quality of food as good if not better. I was a pleasant trip down memory lane to chat with Valero and his brother one more time. So, try the Pizza, try the Pasta, a Small Green Salad and close it with either a Cappuccino or a Brandy. You will feel like you are in heaven. The Price is very reasonable compared to other places around town and for the amount of food and Quality you get more than your moneys' worth."

Bedienung unfreundlich und alleine,Essen soweit gut ,Ambiente gut,Chef selber sehr nett,bei Diavolo Pizza sollte scharf sein,war es aber nicht.

Im wilden Mann gibt es z.B. gute Pizza, je mehr Zulagen deesto teurer. Bedienung kennt die Karte auswendig! Somit hat man immer den besten Preis! Steak und Schnitzel waren auch gut. ruhiges ambiente!

War es in den 90ern ein nettes Lokal, so zeigt sich doch, dass sich seit dem wenig geändert hat. Die Einrichtung ist noch wie damals - aber eben in die Jahre gekommen und das Essen eben auch. Da erwarte ich inzwischen frischeres!Empfehlen würde ich es als Notlösung- höchstens!

We spoke very little German and our waitress spoke very little English, but she was able to tell us which dishes were beef, pork and/or other meats so we could decipher the rest for ourselves with GoogleTranslate. :) My daughter and I had the schnitzel and my husband and daughter each had a pizza. Die Gaststätte ist insgesamt ganz nett, aber nichts besonders. Vor allem die Pizza konnte uns nicht überzeugen... Der recht spärliche Belag wird mit ordentlich Champignons aus der Dose ergänzt. Geschmacklich ist sie insgesamt dann schon ganz gut. Auch der Service war ok - ein bisschen mehr Lächeln würde dennoch nicht schaden...Da gibt's aus unserer Sicht Italiener in der Umgebung, die sich mehr Mühe geben und es auch besser hinbekommen

Nachgerechnet fast 40 Jahre komme ich zu Valero und Marko, beide Urgestein in der Göppinger Pizzawelt. Mit wenigen Ausnahmen esse ich die Pizza 19 - Wilder Mann und die schmeckt unverändert gut. Auch Lasagne und ein hervorrragendes Steak sind zu empfehlen. spaghetti egal welcher Art oder andere Pasta auch prima. Das Lokal wurde schon mehrfach renoviert und dabei meistens erweitert. Ich kann den Wilden Mann uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Gutes Essen, faire Preise. Valero gehört zu den wenigen der bei der Euro-Umstellung nicht nur das Vorzeichen DM/€ gewechselt hat, sondern korrekt umgerechnet. Entspricht seiner Wertevorstellung, die anderen seien Betrüger.
