Wine card is good, as well as the place and location. But personnel is very impolite, speaking only german. We’ve asked couple of questions trying to decide on which wine to have, but waitress just left. Visualizza piatti

The staff is very happy when you have left the restaurant. Still eating chewing gum when they take your order. Takes almost an hour when first dish is served. Typical tourist trap restaurant. Don’t go there. They also are owners of the restaurant Porto next...to Nau.

The wine menu is really broad. Good quality to choose from. So the wine is a big plus. The food is all right. All our dishes at the table had some Portuguese touch, but we really missed the genuine real felling of Portugal. The staff...is very nice. It was wonderful to sit outside, under some heating lamps, all though it was in oktober.

My friends took me here for dinner, it's not a large restaurant but cozy. The wait staff was very helpful and couldn't do enough for us even though it was pretty busy. The food was tasty and fresh. We followed the recommendation of our son who suggested the restaurant next door(Porto). We found that is was completely booked on this Saturday night but one of the employees said that the restaurant next door had space and shared the kitchen with Porto, We went...to Nau and it was wonderful. The service, the food. the wine all were top quality. I had a shrimp appetizer that was outstanding and my steak was as good as most any I ve had. The meal was excellent and not very expensive.

When we arrived (early as they requested when we booked) the waiter was more concerned about when we would be leaving! We then sat for min before we were offered a drink or wine list. Not a good impression! The food was...average can't imagine that they employ a chef, more like a cook...it's a very touristy restaurant area with lots of similar places up down the street here. Interesting to walk along but we recommend a different area to eat unless you're happy with what you can easily cook yourself at home maybe do a lot better if you're an excellent cook like my husband. It's great that Hamburg has embraced the Portuguese culture so that's a big positive!

Me and my boyfriend came to Hamburg for a weekend and wanted a special night and have a nice dinner. We asked the reception of our hotel for any reccomodations and she told us to go to the spanish/portugese area. So we went and Nau...caught our eye. Worst decision ever. We ordered the fish menu. The food wasn’t good, the vegatables were raw and the fish was full of olive oil. The shrimps cooked in garlic oil didnt even taste like garlic. The waiters weren’t interrested and the that were working went outside together to smoke in front of the window, so there wasn’t any staff inside anymore. The only thing good about the evening was drinking wine.. If you’re looking to eat here, don’t do it!! Visualizza piatti
