"We were in the restaurant on Tuesday night and more than half of the places were occupied. After a short wait we were assigned a table near the vault. Since the service was alone, we had to wait some time until the beverage order was received. After about another 10 minutes we got our beer. This was unfortunately warm and was tried to cool with ice cubes. It went back some time until the menus were taken. It was directly said that instead of the cauliflower soup, there are pumpkin soup and pawlings would be replaced by mushrooms. Our choice fell to three times the Maxiburger with cheese frits. Then we were told that cheese was made and only meat was available for three simple burgers.The burger was okay, the pommes unfortunately very fat and faded. After seasoning did not go as no salt (no spices) stood on the table and the waitress was no longer visible.Everything in all, the visit was rather disappointing and the expectations at the relatively high prices were significantly higher. The service was very friendly and very striving to meet the wishes of the guests despite the lack of staff."

It is not easy to find vegetarian food on the Moselle at all. The Neos had a few dishes on offer, but the ones we tried have little convinced.I had the vegetarian 4 courses menu. It started solid and tasty with a classic Red Bete Carpaccio. After that we waited at least 40 minutes! for the next walk a cauliflower soup, which had a great creamy consistency, but was fade and almost tasteless. The Pfifferlingsrisotto that came back after a reasonable time, unfortunately had little to do with a real risotto. The wrong rice was used, so the consistency was too liquid. "I read some reviews and heard from friends that this was thé place to eat in Cochem am Mosel, so we were very excited to find the restaurant near empty on our arrival as we had expected a wait.There was nobody to greet us as we walked in so after waiting politely waiting at the entrance for a bit we decided to seat ourselves awaiting the the host, waiter/waitress to come and greet us.It took another 5 minutes for the waitress to show up. As soon as she showed up she kindly requested us to move from the cozy booth-like spacious table to a smaller wooden table. Since the entire restaurant was empty, with the exception of one gentleman and it was about an hour before closing we did not see her point to keep the large table for non-guests so we kindly declined. The frauleins entire attitude changed and we could hear her screaming and yelling in the kitchen to the chef. She then proceeded to vent her grief to the other patron in German. One might imagine her surprise when I kindly informed her that I was able to understand her conversations ( I am Dutch so I understand the language ) and did not appreciate her treating us this way. Being used to American customer service I do lower my standards somewhat but to be told smack about a semi-professional in a small town restaurant in the middle of nowhere is not something I accept. We were looking forward to taste the local food but were quite frankly concerned that this would come with some non-sanitary condiments."
