Second time eating here. Lovely food and setting is quirky

The menu is exceptional, the coffee is excellent, and the desserts are beautifully presented.

My daughter found black plastic in her fries at this restaurant. When we brought it to their attention, they simply said they didn't know how it got there and apologized. They didn't charge us for the plastic, but still charged us for the fries. As a family, we will not be returning to this restaurant.

This restaurant is situated at the top of Windsor Avenue in Lurgan, offering delicious food to cater to a variety of tastes. It is family-friendly with an ice cream parlour, small gift section, and a second-hand book depository. Street parking is available outside, but spaces near the restaurant are often taken quickly. I applied for a waitressing job before, the owner said yes to a trial period. But found out I was lied to and ended up in the kitchen. I then left an honest review and She had the cheek saying it wasn't a nice thing to do. Well guess what you miserable old bat, it's not exactly nice to lie and say one thing and go the other! The owner's a nasty old person.

No salad garnish with chicken goujons is ‘miserable’. Charging £1 extra for ‘hand cut’ chips is just simply rude. My meal cost £17.50 including salad and tea. The same meal in Moy Larder costs £9.30, their salad with homemade coleslaw is really good and the staff are extremely welcoming. Enjoy your extra £1 for the chips, I won’t be repeating that experience.

Ill start by saying my partner really enjoyed his food. Although he did, my steak san was disappointing. It only tasted like the bottom of an unwashed wok. Same for the onions with it. No other taste to it than that. The glasses brought with our drinks had already melted ice in them rather than fresh ice? Not so sure what happened there.The staff were not rude as such but most certainly need to smile ALOT more and work harder at making you feel welcome. Answered questions when asked and did their job but as i said, no smiles whatsoever between all of them and quite blunt- except for the one person that i did know personally.
