"This place looked promising upon arrival with decent prices but turned out to be just another shoddy burger joint. Service was good waiters were nice, didn't try any drinks but the starter of onion rings, jalapeño cheddar balls and what ended up being battered courgette was disgusting to be frank. The starter came practically dripping in oil with these unpalatable dips. I figured that was just a wrong choice off the menu. Ordered the tofu burger and fries and as a main, not as bad as the starter but the bun was budget and the chips were greasy again and the onion was so strong my mouth still tastes like merde."

We went overthere for dinner. Ninkasi IPA beer is nice. Tasty double beef burger served with chips We were up on floor which is less noisy.

Great place for beer in Lyon if you're looking for more than just blonde beer usually found in France. Good burgers for France and good service.

We decided not to eat lunch here, but the name is increasingly cropping up around Lyon and I was keen to try their beer. We therefore came back at the end of the evening and had a couple of beers. The IPA in particular was...very good.

The names of the burgers are awesome, the employees are very professionals and kind, really nice. I will recommend this establishment, it's a place where i had fun with my friends and the employees. Thanks again for this great moment, see you soon.

The beer is just ok compared to today's craft beer scene, but the selection was good and nothing was bad. We ordered a planche with cheese, sausage, and bread. The plate was huge and well worth the price. Great service too. The outdoor seating is...nothing spectacular but cozy enough.

There are several around Lyon but Ninkasi Saint Paul remains our favourite quite simply because of the staff; guess we go often enough to become regular faces so the service is good.If you have never tried Ninkasi burgers they are really something else. I recommend the Highway to Ale. They also have vegetarian options. The beers are only "not bad" (except the Ninkasi Noire which is brilliant) but the New Malt Whisky is to die for.

Food: arrived quickly, I had a salmon bagel which was tasty, french fries are very good, taste like home made! I had a Kir cocktail, that is recommended. Otherwise they have a selection of own beers. Staff: friendly, and careful about customes needs. Location: central,...not sure about parking places... Price: Good for what you get! AIr conditioning in summer, and it looks like they organize events in winter with live music. I'd like to come back here.

"My wife and I dined here on a Saturday night (having made a reservation several days in advance), and it was one of the best dining experiences we have had in France in a long time. We reserved for the early seating, showed up on time, and were among the first customers there. We had a small table near the door. The disadvantage is that we were occasionally wafted by a cold draft from the front door. The bigger advantage was that we were sitting near the restaurant's beautiful, precision, hand-operated meat slicer. The specialty starter is beef that has been cured for seven months with seven spices. It is sliced paper thin (and that is no exaggeration) and served heaped on a plate. Heavenly. My wife and I ordered only one of these plates and it was more than ample for the two of us.That was followed by our starters. I ordered the minestrone marocain légèrement épicé comme à Tanger (Moroccan minestrone, lightly spiced as in Tangiers), and my wife the rillettes de crabe aux petits légumes et Granny Smith (shredded crab with little vegetables and pieces of Granny Smith apple). Both were delicious. For our main dishes I had a pavé de cerf (deer steak), which was ample and perfectly cooked. My wife had fish, also cooked to perfection. I don't recall the wine we ordered, but the choice was from wines that were at their peak (not just wines one or two years old), yet the prices were reasonable. One remark about the decore: it manages to be a bit traditional and modern at the same time, with reproductions of paintings by Modigliani and various early 20th-century (mainly French) artists adorning the wall.Overall, a restaurant worth going out of your way for."
