Great food but service was a bit slow and music could have been a bit higher

We went for two courses starters of prawn and linguine Followed by pork and steak. Food good and wine list reasonably priced. Service is friendly

Food was great, we had 3 sharing roasts between 5 people and it was the perfect amount of food. All of it tasted amazing and was beautifully cooked. Staff were attentive and friendly

this restaurant has the best eating and the atmosphere for miles round. it is best to eat fine. I want to try everything on the menu. I am so glad that this restaurant has a new cook, it is such a great restaurant cannot recommend it enough Visualizza piatti

Family dinner before a wedding. Party of six. On a Thursday evening the restaurant was virtually empty. The host was attentive but not overly so. A good pace of service throughout the evening. Food was good, varied menu, an several unusual dishes. I had the marinated chicken kebab, which was tasty. Great lime lemon posset to follow. In all, a very nice evening, without being spectacular. A solid choice for a special occasion or just dinner with friends.

The restaurant wasn’t full but it was busy. The waitress explained there was a big party and made sure she got our order in first which was good. But overall, service felt slow. The staff waiting on tables didn’t seem that experienced and needed to be told to clear the tables. The food was nice but there wasn’t any proactive advice about ordering sides, I needed to ask. The duck was lovely but it came with nothing else. Sides were a must and that should’ve been explained when ordering. Luckily we had enough chips and salad spare from other plates. It was ok but not enough for me to return

My wife and I went here in the evening expecting a restaurant full of diners. Sadly we were one of only 4 tables being used which really flattened the experience. Music was very quiet and there was virtually no atmosphere. Our food came out far too quickly and, whilst I appreciate the kitchen was quiet, we could easily have been done in an hour which wasn’t what we were looking for. We have a young family so nights out are a rarity. Food was pretty good, service from floor staff was great but overall a disappointing evening. To be fair, we may have just encountered an unusual evening but I get the sense that the best nights here are when they have live music. This is one a month. Visualizza piatti
