"Very good first time experience. Very nice comfortable seating, EXCELLENT service, some of the crockery was a bit NAF the type of water jug and glasses you commonly find in an outdated, 3rd world village of Pakistan keeping in mind the cost of eating here. I ordered an egg royale which came with gluten free bed. Unfortunately the toast waswellwell done ? . Actually it was quite burnt and hard. To the extent that cutting it was quite a difficult task. Thus leading me to pick up the toast and try to eat it with my hands. My son ordered a burger which was tasteless. He eventually forced himself to eat it after putting on lots of sauce. The other two meals were enjoyed thoroughly. So on the whole not too bad but can easily be improved ! Vegetarian options: Yes they had good selection of vegetarian options. Dietary restrictions: Catered for dietary needs very well and made sure everything was suitable Kid-friendliness: We’re nice and friendly with the kids"

Booked No.17 Dickens Yard for a party (13th Oct). The venue was fantastic, and the comms in preparation for the party was seamless. On the night, the staff were so helpful and friendly it felt as if they were also our mates, helping out on the day! A huge shoutout to Nina and Joao for their fab work on the night. My niece had her 13th birthday party here. The staff did an excellent job of accommodating and serving 17 kids! The jugs of juice were value for money, as was the child menu (two courses). We supplied our own birthday cake, which the staff put in the fridge then brought to the table singing happy birthday. My halloumi burger was excellent Price per person: £10–20

Rudest staff ever !! Rude security , rude greeter person and a rude young man behind the bar . However there was one server lady who was lovely and our waiter who was so funny and enthusiastic (didn’t catch the name but he was tall and friendly didn’t have hair he literally makes this place what it is . The rest of you need to work on your customer service skills . Food was good drinks were nice but not sure I would come back because of the rudeness of staff

Great atmosphere, Great coffee. I personally don’t like the quality of the food here for the price! The fish and chicken are so so so oily. The brunch options are mediocre. They used to have an avocado aubergine lime brunch which was amazing but have since been replaced by avocado beans which is not good in my opinion. The shakshouka was tasteless. The Sunday roast was also dry. I like the atmosphere here so I’ve tried almost every food on the menu and was mostly disappointed for the price it charges!
