"Finally, there is a fantastic place to dine and relax in Milnthorpe, rather than some of the nearby pubs. The menu is innovative and offers options for coffee earlier in the day. There is no rush, the staff is friendly, and the chef is skilled. Additionally, they serve real ale from the Orange Tree in Kirkby Lonsdale. The interior is well-designed and there is nothing negative to say about this place. They deserve to take business away from the nearby Kingfisher restaurant. As long as they maintain their high standards of customer care, they will continue to thrive. So far, they have definitely earned it."

Last night for my parents 48th anniversary with the whole family as we celebrate here. we all have very high standards. the food service and the atmosphere have surpassed our expectations. will recommend this to everyone who is ready to listen x

I had arranged to meet two colleagues for a light lunch yesterday in the Lounge, I had Tomato and Courgette Soup and a Brie, Grape and Walnut Chiabata with a Latte. Have to say I was full for the rest of the day. The soup was delicious. Thanks once again to the staff at No 17 and not forgetting my friends for great company.

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic. The staff is friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The menu is delicious and keeps customers coming back for more. The culinary experience rivals that of 5-star hotels and is a pleasant surprise given the restaurant's location. Kudos to the employees and owners of nr. 17 for a job well done.

Today was our fist visit won't be our last!!! 5 of us enjoyed a very nice, relaxed, much loved catch up over FANTASTIC food!! What a gem of a place laidback, fab staff (sooooo friendly all the time we were there for hours.... and out of this world food!!!! Between us we had soup, fish and chips, Sunday roast and sea bass. Add superb puddings! YUMMMMM!!!

great place for fantastic eating and friendly atmosphere. they have been several times and have never been disappointed and the meal of the last night was not taken. the piece of resistance ' dessert from chocolate torte and sky sorbet was for to die. the staff is very friendly and efficient. they make their whole night a special occasion. will surely come back soon.
