"Visited on a busy Saturday evening. General impression is the restaurant is clean, well presented and evidently well liked for how many people were in the small dining area. A little noisy, particularly in the confined space beside the kitchen, when seated close beside a louder table. As the evening progressed, we felt quite cold not sure if the heating was on? Service from the staff was outstanding, very friendly, polite, attentive, but food was slow to arrive. We were a little perplexed by having the appetiser on the table before our starter/main order had been taken, so having to work around still having the menus. The smoked butter was very strong my partner liked it, it was too much for me. Both fish starters were good, with the mackerel our favourite. The main courses were OK. The lamb was fine, but served with lamb fat root veg meant the whole plate was very similar flavoured, and the green beans/salsa verde felt like an afterthought. The skate wing was nice, and the crispy capers were a new and pleasant experience. The desserts rescued the food for me the creme brulée was outstanding, and the chocolate special was very good, with exception of a slightly chewy meringue. I feel I'm being picky with my criticisms, but fig tree is definitely priced higher than other more standard fare restaurants in Plymouth where we have also had very good food."

"I had a great experience at Cosmic Kitchen. The scotch egg was delicious and I can't wait to try more items on the menu. I highly recommend this restaurant for lunch. The price per person is around £50-£60 and the food, service, and atmosphere all scored a perfect 5 out of 5. I recommend trying the Signature Vegan Scotch Egg, Spicy Chilli Nachos, Potato Fries, and Falafel Wrap."

"The staff are always so accommodating. The perfect value vs taste cafe. You will not find a better coffee and cake for a cheaper price than at Lisbon Bakery, period. You always leave feeling like you forgot to pay for something but its just that good! Ditch the Costa, and try some real artisan cakes, coffee and meals at Lisbon and you will not regret it. A true local gem and a perfect spot if your a student with time for a cat up with friends in between exams. Also, look up if you're visiting. They have an amazing selection of alcohol within variety you would struggle to find anywhere else in the city. The lemoncello will happily make the transition between meal to cake a flawless experience Wheelchair accessibility: Indoors there are no steps just a small inclined ramp. Entrance has a lip, but the staff met me at the door with a sturdy fold out ramp before I even had a chance to ask when I visited with friends who required wheelchair access. They also instinctively look for a space or move chairs to accommodate without making you feel like it's a hassle. A much needed reprieve in a cobble laden city that can be quite difficult to navigate if you have a wheelchair! "For us it means crossing from the other side of ‘the water.’ But it’s always an absolute pleasure to do so. Hart’s is where the is. 10/10 in every way. Great food drink, lovely proprietor, delightful staff, beautiful cafe lounge outside sun deck with amazing views across the river. Not expensive but certainly top quality all the way. Love Harts"

"Fantastic and varied menu with good prices. We didn't even know that Tea Bun existed and just happened to go by while on the market, so decided to stop for lunch. So glad we made it! I went for the ducks bao rolls that were so full of taste and the salad that came with was so fresh! My first time, bubbles try tea... interesting and the mango was very refreshing. I will definitely come back as I am a huge lawn lover, so would love to give her an attempt. Thanks also the wonderful staff x"
