Notcutts - Piatti

After we met friends and had a meal in the Harly cafe, we went to notcutts. impressive selection of plants we even bought some stones for our caravan!

My partner and I have eaten here on several occassions and often just had coffee/tea and a cake. Quality is always excellent and a good range of home cooked food. The ambience is a little lacking but that is just my personal opinion.

We visited for breakfast and a look around the garden centre. The full English was lovely and fairly priced. The garden centre is big and plenty to see. There is a pet bit to buy pet supplies, the clothes part is massive and there is...lots to look at. There is yummy food and drinks to buy, lots of real ale and gin presents. All in all, this place is good to spend a couple of hours.

There was not a lot of variety in the cooked food options at this restaurant. The soup (potato and leek) tasted like diluted water with very little substance and small pieces of dried broth. The quiche with cheese and tomato was greasy and served with a small portion of dried salad. We also had coffee and ginger cake, which were enjoyable, especially because we received the coffee for free after expressing our dissatisfaction.

Went here today travelled from Market Rasen as it was recommended. You have to ask at the till for the menu which is flashed up in front of you. We took a seat in the conservatory type area. Oh phew it was unbearably hot. No...windows open, no door to allow some air and the fans don't work. 25°outside so goodness knows what it was in here the fish n chips tasted nice don't get me wrong but I could hardly breathe it was so stifling. We recently visited our local garden center and were impressed by the newly opened restaurant. The staff were welcoming and provided us with necessary information, including the use of hand sanitizer and filling out a form with our details. The restaurant was immaculately clean and the tables were nicely arranged. Despite only having coffee and a scone during our visit, we felt safe and appreciated the warm welcome. Although there may be queues during busy periods, we believe it is worth the wait. Thank you to everyone at the restaurant, we look forward to returning soon.

I called my mother to treat her to a delicious snack. We ordered mocha coffee and cake at the restaurant. The server seemed more focused on my track and trace information, despite me informing her that I had already completed it. She did not listen to my order and tried to bring out the coffee before the cake. The mocha turned out to be mostly milk and water, and when I expressed my dissatisfaction, she dismissed my complaint by stating that it was what I had ordered. I insisted that I have had enough mochas to know how they should be made, so she reluctantly offered me tea instead. We visited the garden centre as a family over the October half term. The garden centre itself was fantastic and the Christmas displays were truly magical! After having a good look around we decided to head over to the cafe/restaurant for some lunch. The que...was huge as they clearly did not have enough order/pay stations running to support the amount of customers. I was disappointed they didn’t have a cafe staple soup!!! A child’s meal was £5.95 and when it arrived our 5 year old daughter was given 1 sausage, 5 chips (this apparently was an extra portion to! when I questioned the portion size I was advised this is standard portion for a child’s meal!
