"Food was excellent and served quickly. There were of course on 4 people in the restaurant other than the staff. The steak was really really good and cooked exactly as I had asked for. I thought £3 for some horse radish on the side was ridiculous. The fact the everything is a side at additional cost is a bit much. Nothing was offered included in the price of the steak. So by the time you have say mashed potato, and two veg plus the horse radish you've added £21 to a £43 steak. Pity they no longer have table cloths so it no longer feels like fine dining for a fine dining price. However, the service was excellent as was the food hence the positive rating. The restaurant and its outside tables (in a narrow side street) are a bit gloomy compared with the old location."

We were so disappointed with the mains We all ordered steak and had to send 4 of the 5 back , the meat was tough and chewy The staff were very apologetic and helpful but the food was a total let down

Long weekend in London made so much nicer by superb meal, I had pork chop, delicious , my wife had amazing burger. The bottle of Gavi Di Gavi and relaxing atmosphere was just what was needed after a day of sightseeing and busy streets.

Our waiter was a young chap, who could have been a bit louder when talking to us, and could have looked a bit better presented, as his hair was quite an untidy. Also I feel the pie we ordered at £24 could have at least come with a bit more substance than having to order chips also.

The food was fabulous, but it took a while to get a glass of wine before lunch as we had ordered the Porterhouse to share what takes 35 minutes to cook what was not a problem as it was fantastically done (Medium Rare). The glass of wine only strikes the steak to the table about 5 minutes. The total cost was over £250 for two people for lunch and while I know good quality steaks are expensive, it seems to pay a lot for lunch.
