"When I arrived at the restaurant they didn't seem to know about my reservation via opentable. After a few annoying looks and a discussion between personell I got a table. In the other room they had a birthday party and the music was playing really loud so it wasn't an enjoyable time. It took almost mins to receive our order because we got unlucky and they started serving the big party right before us. The food was well made and tasted really good though. No one cleaned our table and we called someone to ask for the bill mins after we finished our food. The lady asked whether we wanted to add a tip on the bill or give it in cash. We said we might give something in cash but weren't sure. when she asked why not we wanted to say that the party was loud and we felt not really served as we had to wait very long for everything or had to call someone to receive some sort of service and there was not even a smile from anyone... she didn't listen to our story and walked away. Very rude... A tip is not mandatory, I'll gladly give one when the service was really good or with a smile. So in this case we got a bit unlucky with the party but the food was good. I suggest if you see there is a party, avoid this restaurant but maybe on a quiet day it might be worth it"

All in all recommendable! Friendly service and good cuisine. For me, the location on Savignyplatz is still one of “the” addresses in “old Berlin” with charm. A lot of “go and see” .... Parking is usually good

We have been to the restaurant many times ... ... but mostly in the summer in the outdoor areas and always very satisfied. It was always special, and now we got the impression that the concept was shifted more towards quantity than quality. The music was so loud that we could hardly talk and the quality of the food was ... if at all ... lower average as good as not seasoned at all

Can't recommend this. We decided NOT to come back another time. When making the reservation you're asked the purpose of your stay, and so we gave note that this is a fiftieth birthday party for two. The intention was to have a glass of champagne. When arriving, nobody cared about the birthday, and your table is right at the entry. The waiter had to ask if they have champagne at all not good. : The Champagne had been not sufficiently cool enough and obviously old because the bubbles were gone after minutes. Bad. :oThe Cheese plate was decorated like in the but not retrochic, just oldfashioned. Warm champagne, no birthday greetings, what a poor performance for a restaurant at this price level....
