"I stopped by this restaurant to grab a quick takeout lunch with my daughter. Unfortunately, the 4 staff members working were not very friendly. After being ignored for a few minutes, I had to ask if they offered takeout. The staff member seemed to perk up a bit and confirmed that they did. I mentioned that I only had 15 minutes left on my parking and was assured that it would be enough time. We ordered a kids tuna sweet corn sandwich and a bacon, Brie, and cranberry sandwich. The staff seemed unsure of the pricing and had to consult with another employee who took a while to calculate the cost. Eventually, we were told that the kids sandwich would be slightly cheaper than an adult sandwich. However, when our order arrived, the kids sandwich consisted of one slice of bread cut into two small sandwiches, making it seem like it would've been worth paying a bit more for a larger portion. Additionally, I was charged extra for the cranberry sauce as it was considered an additional ingredient for the bacon and Brie sandwich. To my disappointment, the cranberry sauce was missing from the sandwich when I opened it to eat. The rest of the food was mediocre, with bland and tasteless Brie cheese. Overall, the experience took longer than expected, causing me to rush back to my car to avoid a parking ticket. We do not plan on returning to this restaurant in the future."

Best place in hinckley the food is always amazing, busy at times so you may have to wait but it is worth it

We go every Saturday for a full English, excellent service, best breakfast in Hinckley. They are happy to cater for fussy eaters :

The place is very nice and very cleaned. Good English full breakfast. But the best are the homemade scones with butter, jam and whipped cream.

We often drop in PIGGY'S for coffee and bacon buttie and have always been satisfied -Fine dining it ain't but it gives honest grub at honest prices

My husband, son, and I always frequent this cafe for breakfast as it is one of the top cafes in town with a friendly service. My son particularly enjoys their hot chocolate with cream.

After queuing at Costa many lunch times thought it was a time for change. Piggy’s Hollow well ok is generally for the older generation but this is our new lunch time place. Good food and pleasant service recommend

Ive been to piggys a few times now and first impression is that ive gone back in time to the 70s! Its very dated and lacks that 'i cant wait to go back feeling '. Having said that the staff are very friendly and it does look very clean. Excellent choice on the menu and the foid in general isnt bad though the sausages can be a little tough on your teeth! Having said this i wouldn 't hesitate on going back.

The breakfast at this restaurant was very disappointing. We arrived at 2:00pm and the cafe was empty with the staff cleaning down. The breakfast we received was poorly presented, as seen in the photo. The sausages were undercooked, the bacon was not appetizing and the mushrooms seemed to be microwaved. It seemed like the whole meal was rushed. There was no follow-up from the staff regarding the fact that we didn't eat much of our breakfast. There are much better places to eat in town with tastier food and better service.
